This makes the worst of the GSL finals look like pure gold.
How did ZeeRax make it to the finals? Did he abuse something? Abused his race User was temp banned for this post. No, ZeeRax has solid play, just inflexible. QXC's play-style is a miss-match for ZeeRax. Think the "Thrilla in Manilla" Muhammed Ali vs. Smokin' Joe Frasier. Both great in their own right, just.... A mismatch. I hope we see more ZeeRax in the future... given he can continue to show the ingenuity that he displayed today. How is it even possible to call a player who jumps back n forth between T and P solid.

It sucks that ZeeRax's performance will probably be remembered only by those three quick losses in the finals. To get there he beat Strelok, Catz, Blur, AllAboutYou - would you say these are weak opponents? No. As i understand it, he had disconnection problems that night and was worried that he would be dropped again in set 1 of the finals, so he rushed for an unneccessary attack and lost his lead. From then on it is understandable, at least for me, that he would lose his cool. And against a player of qxc's caliber you must be on your best performance.
Mad props to my fellow-countryman ZeeRax!

disappointed i had to work and didn't get to watch the assembly finals or this. So glad qxc won, he deserves to test his skills vs the top player in the world. USA has 2 peeps get into the TSL today =) Hope allaboutyou can make another run and get in there as well. Maybe another winner, not sure who i'd pick to win it though, maybe a suprise like Cruncher =)
Dunno who the Zeerax guy is but apparently hes pretty good. Hes going to have to use these next 2 opens to secure some points though, definately not safe with just 100 points.
Also CatZ making it so far was a pleasant suprise =) sucks he had to take out kiwi before he got any points =(((((((((

VODs are up, check the OP for spoiler-free player.

Zeerax is a very oldschool starcraft and warcraft3 player. And if my memory serves right he is the wcg usa champion for Fifa for 2002 or 2003.

Just watched the VODS, great play by QXC vs Select. Zeerax seemed like a one punch build kind of player and QXC found the holes in it and won. QXC is by far my favorite Terran and he deserved that win.
