That's actually a very good interview, even with just the audio for most of it. And Huk does not sound cocky at all. I sincerely hope he does really well in this tournament. Sure he failed to qualify to GSL but so did Jinro, twice, and now he is one of the dominating players in the tournament.

I would hope the top4 in Assembly is Huk, Tyler, TLO and Naama.

Yeah, obviously people can interpret language differently, but his comments didn't sound arrogant to me. It was confident and honest, but it wasn't in a boasting manner and he does have respect for a lot of the people there. Great interview.

the problem is that people sometimes push a player to heaven just for winning a tournament.
"sjow best eu terran, lets go to korea" and all that jazz
and then they are wondering why he lost twice and are dissapointed.

He's done more than "win a tournament." I agree that he might be somewhat over-hyped by some, but it's still a huge surprise he is out imo.

"A tournament" ?

Besides White-ra, I don't think there's anyone else who's gobbling every other tournament up.

That's just the state of the game (pun intended), everyone can win a big tournament, upsets are bound to happen, it all depends on who has a good/bad day.

ul for sjow, hopefully he can turn it around @ IEM

Well, Swedish athletes or w-ever never really make bold statements like "I'm pretty sure I'm the best player here" and "anyone else than Jos from that group I'll pretty much destroy". So from a cultural perspective it is very cocky.

I don't mind though.
