He was behind when he saw CC first, then he was even more behind scouting mech when he tried to go for a fast spire doing nothing even facing a super-fast 3rd for Jinro while he was on 2 base. Then he was super-behind on upgrades.. that was a late gg to begin with, not an early one. But it is a showmatch and he left before engaging at all. Sure, it looked grim but.. come on. No, nothing come on. Why should he attack and look at his units dying doing nothing? Just leave with a gg was the most logic and reasonable thing to do. He's not playing to entertain you. He's playing to win. Yes, he *is* playing to entertain. That's the definition of a showmatch. They're trying to hype NASL here, and Idra is not doing a good job. You can see how pissed Geoff is about it.

He plays to win, and instead of pleasing the 20,000 + person audience by going for a final attack there, or attempting a base trade, he just ggs. He hurts the production value of the showmatch by not waiting 5 seconds for np, spending 10 seconds going in for a final attack, and then gging.... Yes. I don't mind if he does this in an open tournament. But a showmatch which he has been invited to, which also puts out a staggering price pool.. It's just bad form towards the sponsors and the match organizers who gives him the opportunity to claim 1500 for little work. Despicable. I want Jinro to win even more now. Come on Jinro!

Missed the GG in that game, so I had no idea what happened at the end missed a couple of engagements as wellIdra Basicly GG because he knew he couldn't win even before he even attacked with his army. Nothing to see really, kinda antiklimax.

He's playing to win. That's the fucking thing isn't it? I'm not saying he owes me anything, he doesn't but it is a bloody showmatch. Showmatches bloody purpose is to entertain, that's when we see archon toilets and other stupid and possibly not as viable shit that's enjoyable to watch. A gg before the final battle goes against everything a showmatch is. Oh well.

He lost a ton of his army trying to attack jinros base, and his muta clump was cut in half from 3 thor shots. It was over. Why is an ultra the counter? It has splash and mobility, similar costs. Seems like the thor should win the fight

This wouldn't explain the discrepancy between Gretorp and iNcontroL's timing though, so accept my theory as nothing more than just that. ![]() As an aside, I am also experiencing nothing during the intermissions except for the overlay and silence, even though both my NoScript and AdBlock have exceptions set for justin.tv.
