compLexity Gaming is proud to announce its newest initiative in the StarCraft 2 community, The V! The best test of skill in SC2 is of course the 1 v 1, and we're going to showcase it every week with a best of 7 series between two invited players. The winner will receive $100, and the loser will just have to hang his head in shame as he types "gg." Whoever wins The V will be expected to play the very next week at the same time, Friday at 7 p.m. EST!
Cast by AskJoshy and potentially a compLexity Staff or Player co-caster. Stream can be seen on the front page of compLexityGaming.com
Format: Best of 7 series, first map will be played on Metalopolis. Loser of each map will choose the next map from the Battle.net 1v1 ladder map pool. There will be no map vetoes. Maps may not be repeated. In the event of a disconnect, the game replay will be reviewed by a player panel to determine if a re-game is necessary. If one player disconnects three times in a single night, he will forfeit the series and the non-disconnecting player will be asked back to the next V.
Prizes: The winner of the best of 7 series will receive $100 via Paypal and be invited to play again the following week. The loser will receive nothing. Viewers of the live stream will have a chance to win a brand new QPad professional gaming mouse pad of their choice! All you have to do is pay attention to the giveaway rules that will be given at some point during the cast!
So come join us for the third ever edition of "The V" and see if FXOSheth can defend his Week 2 title against our newest challenger, NrG.dde! Vote below for who you think will win!
Wow this should be a good series.. Sheth was really impressive against Tyler - even though it went down to the wire on Blistering Sands (the worst map ever conceived) he showed some good skills.. and dde is always a monster so should be a close series TvZ rocking out!
OsToJiY ?!??!?!!??!?!?!?! Whenever it was given to me as choices of "Shawn would you like to save the world and become the most popular man ever, or save the life of a scrub starcraft player named Chris? I chose to save you. Yes YOU. I taught you everything I knew and now this. I am disapoint.
2 very close friends, it's going to be awesome. Shawn has been improving really quickly, and dde is one crazy motherfucker. I cant fuckin wait for friday~

I'm cool with giving you a shot Naniwa, but we can't budge on the times and it has to be played on the North American server. 1 a.m. CET each Friday sound ok? Also, won't you be in Assembly in Helsinki for our next one?
Oh, snap! Sheth has taken the lead on the poll in the original post! dde was up all week long, wonder what's going on?
Either way, today is the day! I'll put the stream live at 6:30 p.m. EST and play some music so people can filter in, then the ZvT bo7 begins right at 7! =D
dde will hunt you down and murder you if you end up getting a picture of him
Nah but he doesn't want his pic up so that's why we didn't provide on Very very much looking forward to this, i would love to see dde vs naniwa next week ^_^
I can't wait for this tonight.. I've been humiliated by DDE a few times before, but I also remember Sheth completely surprising me with his play last week. Going to be a great match.

If you run your drones they actually bunch up more for the hellions. Really need more roaches or a lot more speedlings to surround the hellions. DDE's first timing seems to hit too fast for Sheth's macro style and after he loses like 6-7 drones it's downhill from there.
dde always quits that fast when there are DT's lol. I mean, he was up by so many harvesters he could have at least made an attempt to wait for scan. What has he never dealt with DT's in SC1 they were so much better in that game LOL
Hahaha, this series is completely bizarre. Don't think those DT's should have been a gg, but oh well. AskJoshy is a pretty good caster. He's got a good voice and keeps up with the game quite well. Lots of decent commentators recently, it's quite nice
Oh my God, I feel like a giant 'tard after that Game 1. It was probably one of the best games of the series and you guys essentially just watched a spectator cam. Hahaha. =P Uploading VOD's to YouTube now, and updating the op with results for each map.
Huge congratulations to dde, your TvZ is really dominant dude! I'll try to find you a worthy opponent for next week! =D
