Hey guys! This Wednesday will mark the first showmatch in sixjax.NrG's trial Showmatch Series (http://sixjaxgaming.com). We will be bringing you 3 showmatches, each one containing 1 member from sixjax.NrG, and one top player from the community.

Players will match up in a Bo5 series on a preset 5-map pool for the chance to win $100, courtesy of our sponsor, sixjax! (http://sixjax.com). We will be teaming up with GosuGamers.net for the livestream of this event, beginning at 8:00 pm EST on Wednesday, January 26th.

Well catz does like his 7 pool strategy alot so I guess thats not too surprising  or he just doesn't know how to deal with thor drop ^^.

Think Catz would have won game 1 if he had ever done an ultra switch (had all the upgrades for melee/armor very surprised he never made any :S).

BEAUTIFUL play by catz. Look at this, this is either a planned build down to GREAT timing or just Catz being frickin beast. Look, as soon as hive finishes, 2-2 upgrades finish, letting him get 3-3.
Those upgrades let his broodlings, which is his transition.
This is such a great strat. Interesting because less emphasis on banelings and more emphasis on counter attacks, which is so fun to see.
And Catz is STILL creeping like a toss boss

We will be getting a new streamer from gg.net for the remainder of the games. Vincere is having some severe weather issues, which are interfering with his internet connection. Catz took game 3 by just pure macro! took really fast 3rd and 4th bases and was able to roll mihai over. Game 4 on steppes now, mihai needs to win to stay in it!

CatZ loves taking the early gold on this map. Now we'll see if Mihai is familiar with his style. Mihai is over reacting to CatZ previous early aggression and the fact CatZ successfully settled on the gold so early is putting him in a very bad position.

unfortunately for mihai, this is the 2nd attempt at their game on steppes, catz dropped 1st time after he tried a huge roach ling baneling allin. Mihai thinks its coming again, and catz is playing sneaky. The first game where he dropped set this game up perfectly for catz O_O

Kinda disappointed in Mihai's play he seems too passive and lets catz take all the expo's. Looks like a 3-1 catz from what its looking like.

The first game on steppes really threw mihai off, catz played it perfectly in the 2nd game. Opening the same way, but not going allin, instead sneaking the golds. Congratz to CatZ for the $100 win!
