If the tournament does not fill the prize pool will be split accordingly based on the number of entrants.
Format: 32 Participants maximum. Entry for the tournament will be $25 paid upon arrival.

Equipment: Play will be done on provided computers. If you have a mouse or keyboard that you prefer to use, feel free to bring it, but it is not mandatory.

Maps will be chosen by elimination with the higher seed eliminating the first map and so on. Loser picks afterwards.

Already got 6 signed up! I hope we see all 3 rangers there this time. It's a pity they didn't make the one last Saturday. I got all the replay files from G2 late last night, so I'll be sorting through those tonight to get a replay pack. I'm also going to be trying to split the ustream vid files into viewable youtube replays. Love this shit XD
Oh yeah, since it is a bit out of the way, we are looking into seeing if one of the local motel/hotels will get a discount going for this for anyone that wants to go but do the long travel twice in one day.

Within the first 2 days, we are already 1/4 of the way full at 8 registered. I know I mentioned it on the league forums, but we are looking into getting hotel/motel discount for anyone wishing to travel, but doesn't want to do it all in one day. Will keep you posted and also, people are offering carpools there as well from the Boston area.
Signed up on the NE Sc2 forums. Can't wait for this. Don't know how many I'll be driving but I'm planning on staying over in whatever hotel Drogith points me to!
Quick little update, we added 2 more people to the list, so 10 registrants. i should also note that the previous top 3 are not allowed to participate in this tournament. So coL.Ryan, tGensulitor, and hptheGreat will not be participating. And now that we are on the tourny tracker again, time to get on the calendar.
I'm posting partially to bump this and also hopefully so more people will see this. I'm sure there's more people in the northeast that just haven't seen this or don't know about it yet.

Alright, here is the cheapest rooms I could find and sadly we don't have enough people to get a discount. Say you have 2 adults to get a cheaper rate $42.29 split between 4 people works out pretty well for travelers.
So, with only 2 weeks left until the second qualifier for the NESC2League, CCG ups the anti. I just got off the phone with CCG and they have offered their floor to anyone that needs to stay overnight either the night prior, and/or the night of the qualifier. Not to mention, Tony and Laura have invested more in their PCs. So much more that their 10 systems have been updated, 5 new systems will be on location that match the new specs, and there is a possible 3 more being built. That's 18 computers! Also to note, the internet problems have been fixed. They are now blazing up the cyber highway in LAN fueled F1 racer.
So come sign up for the tourney if you've been on the fence now that both a long drive when sleepy and a $50 hotel room are gone from your mind. This will be a blast!

Ryan won't be coming to help me out, but last time I spoke with Force he was still on board to help out. So barring his work calling him in again, I shouldn't need any assistance this go round.
In other news, there is less than 1 week left until the tournament. To run things down, we have 21 entrants and the LAN center is offering floor space to sleep so nobody has to drive home too late or spend an exuberant amount of money on a hotel.
We should also have the league t-shirts in by then, though there was a slight misstep with the drawing size, everything is back on track now and the shirts are going for $25/ea. You can check out the final design here. It's number 4 and we got higher quality shirts, hence the price.

There is still some room left for any last minute entrants and as stated before, the LAN center is providing space for people to crash if they don't want to drive a long distance both days. No update on the shirts, but I will know for sure tomorrow afternoon once I get out of work before heading up to CCG.
