LOL, why would you disgrace MVP with a statement like that? :<

What disgrace....? MVP played just like the best macro zergs play... So many bases... Sending armies to do massive dmg without worry about losing them... It was epic...
People say that Zerg has to be 1-2 bases ahead of T... Now MVP was 2-3 bases ahead... The beast.

Comparing IdrA to MVP is like comparing a vuvuzela to an orchestra, one of them is monotone and predictable whilst the other is a compilation of proper instruments that gel.

GSL 3 ro32, MVP - IdrA: 2-1
IdrA eliminated by allin in 3rd game. Close positions on Meta, won second game on Steppes. First game was pretty close btw.

Drop your ignorance please.

Yeh, that was an amazing 2nd game. And If I remember the first game was extremely close as well, so those players were very even in GSL 3.

If you're comparing these two, forget that one is a Korean and the other is a 'foreigner' and base it on skill. Saying that IdrA is on the same level as MVP is laughable.
MVP all-killed the top 5 zerg players in the world in the Gisado KoTH, with all of them being 2-0 except against oGsZenio, IIRC.

You honestly think IdrA could do that to the top 5 Terrans in sc2?
Even with favourable maps, not a chance.

IdrA is a great player, but to suggest that he is on par with the elite players (such as MC, MVP or Nestea) is folly.

MVP has also destroyed Nestea and FD repeatedly. Perhaps it could have something to with the current state of Zerg (and maps), which you conveniently disregard

Current state of Zerg?
Way to bring balance into this. I'm glad the maps are changing as I feel larger maps encourage more diverse play.

But to imply that Zerg is underpowered (you are, aren't you?) at this juncture is both hilarious and pitiful. People will say anything to take the focus off their own poor play/ the play of those in their race. Good luck with that.

Yes, just like they were saying in 1.0, am I right? There was nothing wrong with the balance back then, just like now. Or back in beta when roaches were 1 supply and had 2 armor. Obviously the game has been and always will be balanced and to suggest otherwise is just an excuse. Indeed, the real issue at hand is that all the zergs are just terrible.

Having said that, MVP could very well be the best player right now

its a single elimination BO3 in RO8 so that sound incorrect on your part.

NesTea is playing Choya in a BO3 for a spot in semis, MvP is playing Tester in a BO3 for a spot in the Semis.

nvm I can't read T.T

but year its BO3 in RO8.

Wait, 2 base vs 2 base attack is all in? Did you even watch the match? Mvp had his expansion up and scanned and saw Idra wasn't prepared then attacked. At least get your facts straight before you try to say something you're making yourself look bad

I don't get why mvp didn't throw the game away (in a subtle manner of course :D) to be matched against Nestea and not against tester. He'll win nestea a very high % of time imo, and tester not so much. I guess it's because they're teammate, or he has ethics.

There will always be imbalance, disregarding balance is no better than blaming it fully.

Balance and luck will always be factors, often the deciding factors when the games are even.

MVP going 3-0, no surprise. This kid is showing Flash-like dominance since the gainward tourney. To say I highly anticipate MVP vs Trickster would be an understatement ...
