I love it this way now

Is nobody else slightly disturbed by Code S RO16 being BO1? What the hell man.
I could understand the initial group stages being BO1 as there were 32 players.. But even then it was kind of crap, and map imbalance played a HUGE part in many terrible series due to it, but now in the RO16 it's just silly.

What are the songs they're playing in between stuff, anyone know the last one just before the interview??!

Anyone remember when he all-killed TSL at the Team Invitational? He should be in code S because he basically owned Fruit Dealer in GSL1. He completely destroyed fruits econ on kulas with hellions, but failed to capitalize on it. That single mistake cost him S class and probably the championship. He is easily a S-class player. while i agree basically, i just wanted to mention that its rather his failure to qualify for gsl 2 or 3 that cost him s-class and not that game against FD. also keep in mind that top would easily have won that game on kulas if not for the ridiculous ultra splash bug where the splash radius was proportional to the splash radius of the attacked unit. the ultra attacking the first thor was dealing splash dam to the 5 thors to the sides and behind the first one aswell. False. Ultra splash bug didn't apply to units. The patch modifying ultra splash only applied to structures.
edit: to be clear, the ultralisks would have done the same damage to the thors before the patch.

lol top cracking up a little at the mention of sanzenith.

Great interview, this guy was very personable.

LOL picking the hardest to get into code S WHAT A TOP BALLER action from!
|
It isnt a Bo1 it is a round robin, there is a difference
|
lol, its always funny when you know they understand english and cant help but laugh
|
HAHAH. TOP laughed when Artosis said sanZenith.
|
Haha wow. Calling out the Dealer. This guy has balls
Also hilarious seeing Artosis's jaw drop after hearing Kim Won Ki.

It's not a round robin either.

Nice. TOP would choose to play one of the tougher players in the up & down matches (Fruit Dealer). I understand his reasons to avenge his loss to FD, but I agree with Artosis where I'd choose someone easier if given the choice to get to code S
|
That was hilarious, poor sadZenith

I'm confused right now. Code A doesn't go further than ro16, right ? Do we know a part of the up and down lineup already ?
Anyway, yes this can be seen as a bo1, but the best players passed the ro16, there was very few "upsets", so the system works.

It's called group play. They do it in the OSL and I don't hear anyone complain.

theyre taking away all the majorly problematic maps by the looks of things, so while bo1 is still fairly lame at least they won't be bo1's on steppes and jungle
