Top played better overall that last game. The toss had too many sentries in the first attack, and didn't need to attack right after Top's attack failed.
I never said that the protoss played perfectly... It just seems like terran is quite powerfull against protoss..i may be wrong, its mostly a feeling i got from watching quite a lot of games (way to many really )

Ace screwed up by not tech switching. He had the same stubborn mentality 99.9% of protoss players have: refusing to switch between robo, twilight, and stargate because they think they maximize the cost efficiency of whatever they put down first.
Ace could have easily built a robo for an observer, then switched to stargate and void rays. Knowing TOP's marauder heavy style, that would have easily won him the game with his first attack.

420 = April 20th.
It's pretty much a joke holiday that some on drugs use. "National Marijuana Day". or at 4:20 a time.

Another thing is Ace easily had enough sentries to hold off any attack during the transition phase. But like most Protoss players, he's either too chicken or doesn't have enough practice with the transition. Actually the same thing applies to Terran and Zerg players.
That's what separates the top 5 players from the rest of the pros: the ability to smoothly transition tech without putting themselves at risk of a timing attack from the opponent.

The game will never be perfectly balanced.. but you pretty much said wow T>P .. which is bullshit. If the game goes on that long and P techs properly, it is gg for Terran. He got Collossus late and then got stuck on them even after seeing mass viking.. If Ace won the song would be different.. I just expressed my feeling that terran seem very powerful against protoss. And your statement that they are equally powerful is just as subjective as mine
I understand that; my issue was less about your statement and more about you just said "wow T>P" without anything else to it.. there is nothing wrong with having an opinion, but you can't just go "yep T>P, no reason, just is" .. anyway off to ladder a bit before code S cheers

I've got to say, I find this structure significantly less compelling than the original GSL's.

Yeah, it's a tough call to make on that map though, when terran is harassing with drop ships and banshees and his army is right across the street. Not to mention the fact that it's win or wait till code A qualifiers next month pressuring him into playing conservative. Hell, I still chicken out on ladder lol.

When I tried to watch I got: Cannot connect to the streaming server. Make sure you are connected to the internet and not behind a firewall. When I watched yesterday it worked without a problem. Anyone what causes this and what I can do to fix? My windows firewall is off and I have no other firewall.. Haven't changed anything since yesterady when it worked. Any help would be appreciated before the Code S! (I already posted on gomtv.net but no answer)

Which stream are you watching? The HQ stream? What I do is try all the streams if the HQ doesn't work and check the HQ one every like 5 or 10mins... Ya I know it sucks. I watched the first game on the Free SQ then the last 2 on HQ. It's just hit and miss....
Hope this helps...

Meh. I tried both SQ and HQ got same from both

Looks like I'll be gladly giving up sleep to watch Boxer play tonight!

Are you connected directly to your modem via Ethernet? If you get the same message, restart your computer and try again. I used to get that problem and somehow a reboot fixed it.
