The possibilities of this system is that there is a possibility of 0 new Code S players or a maximum of 8. In Dutch soccer the relegation is always that the last place is always demoted and the 2 before last place are going to play relegation matches to determine if they get demoted or not. This to ensure that there's always 1 new team every season. Gom should do something like this in which the winner of Code A actually is promoted to Code S and last place of the bottom 16 is 100% demoted. But this would mean more matches which isn't what GOM would like. Instead GOM made it so that winner of Code S chooses which group he plays in (like the runner up) as opposed to the others who are randomly grouped with the bottom code S players. Atleast this makes it somewhat more meaningfull for Code A players to win the tournament. It's more important now for Code A players to just reach Ro8 which is 2 Bo3's for them. After that it's only going to be a plus if they win the event or not. | ||
