WHAT: a 2v2 tournament hosted through z33k
WHEN: Sunday, January 2, 2011 3pm PT/ 6pm EST (<- check in time)
WHERE: NA servers
PRIZE: $11 for the winning team (via paypal) for 2011

Signups should be done through the z33k event signup, however if you don't have a team but want to participate putting your bnet name. ID + race played + rank/league
would probably be a good idea to see if there's anyone else who is looking for a team.

man o man. the 2v2 koth went really well so i hope a lot more people sign up for this sponsored tournament. We had 58 people turn out for the KOTH but very few posted in the thread. If you are viewing this don't wait until the last second! Go sign up on the even page on z33k! we are currently at 17/16 teams but we had nearly enough players just in the koth to host a 32 man tournament. If we get a lot of people signed up i have no problem making it a 32 man tourney. See you guys there!

Discord IV is a horrible map for zerg, especially a zerg team, as holding any expansion other than the natural is incredibly difficult against a competent team.

Just a reminder, we will make this a 32 person event if we get a few more teams.
Also, only teams that check in will be allowed to play (check-in is the same for backups), and based on previous trends, we expect about half of the teams to check-in.
So if you show up for this event, you're almost guaranteed to get in.
Registration is open until the last second before we hit go, so please create a team and sign up. There aren't too many 2v2 events out there, and this one has an $11.00 prize!

i was getting a few questions on battlenet about the check in etc. check in is done pretty much exactly where you registered. Go back the the tournament page 30 minutes before the tournament starts and you will see the button to check in. When the brackets are posted, contact your opponent. They will be on bnet or in the z33k chat. If you have any problems you can message any of the admins/casters or ask in the z33k chat.
