PvT is fine.
basically, protoss have finally figured out how to own bio balls... before this it was the protoss whining about imba terran in this matchup.
the balance whine just goes to show that the new generation gamers are whining kiddies. back in the day we didn't have balance patches every 5 minutes and actually had to learn to deal with monstrous strategies on our own.

LOL. I didnt watch the games but the first thing I see are discussions about Protoss being imba? Wtf is going on... First Zerg was imba because Fruit/NesTea won and now Protoss because MC won? Next time MarineKing will win and then Terran is imba.

That painuser composition is complete crap and only worked well because his opponents didn't adapt well to it. A properly upgraded gateway army completely stomps it and banshee play is simply not good at all lategame (way to easily countered with HT and/or phoenix). Also the patch is making this even worse by buffing phoenix and observers and nerfing thor repair.
Lategame bio works alright with the proper micro, but I do think battlecruisers need to be restored to their old stats making them a viable lategame transition in PvT. It just doesn't make sense to have BC's still suck so hard while in the only matchup where they would be viable (as in TvZ and TvT they suck even more) their counter gets buffed. Voidray buff vs massive should easily compensate for a slight BC buff vs ground again.

of course there are strong compositions against that but it's not that fragile as pure bio..
phoenixes and observer die quite fast to range 10 thors and gateway units die fast to banshees and thors (and maybe blue-flame helions with excess minerals).
hts just like ghost stand out a little bit as they are both always very good in TvP/PvT.
yes, bcs are underused (just as carriers are).. they have some appearance in TvT when both go tank/viking-play.
anyway, PvT is not broken :< thats my point

round of 4 is where the real "pro gaming" begins. i agree with you in that. and there are more terran progamers then all other races. i agree with you here also.
but the fail-rate of terran is the highest! You see:
Out of 2 Zergs, 2 made it to champion (100%)
Out of 2 Protoss, 1 made champion (50%)
Out of 8(!) Terran, 0 became chapmion (0% out of 8!)
