Indeed. I've been in a 105C degree sauna, I'm still alive, no burns. It does feel pretty uncomfortable at 100+ though, 80-90 is nice.
By the way, during winters near lakes, Finnish/Russian/Estonian people have a habit of sitting in a sauna (at around 80-90 degrees) for a while, then run and jump naked into a frozen lake where the water is like 2 degrees. If there's no lake, then just into the snow. Then back into the sauna. It feels awesome.

I wonder what Korean response is to Jinro advancing to RO4.

It doesn't sound very offensive to a Swede. was gonna say just seems like he doesnt realize it is so offensive to native english speakers Sweden as a country don't frown down on swearing as much. In USA you guys censors swearing in TV which doesn't make sense for us in Sweden. We simply don't care a much about it as you do.
And I really respect that. I wish we were not as prudish as a country.

Congrats to jinro, didn't get to see his games but did manage to see mc own marineking. Today broke my liquibet loss streak.

A lot of people get punched and shot in movies too :p.
The UK isnt as prudish as the US when it comes to swearing on TV in interviews etc but weirdly we dub swear words from films on network TV for some bizarre reason. Its still looked down upon generally speaking but isnt like the days when there was national outrage when the sex pistols swore in an interview back in the day.

Probably a joyful one - he's got a lot of fans there . Not only do we hear that in interviews, but there also seems to be plenty of Koreans with cheerfuls for Jinro .

Domestic prize for foreigners is probably not taxable to neither Korea or their home country. So it's like winning a lottery for $13,000 in United States. This should help in stay in Korea and enjoy endless bottles of soju and Korean BBQ! Prize money is taxed in Korea, though tax rate is only 4.4% in Korea. (If I googled correctly..) I'm not sure if it aplies to foreigners. Usually tax by foreigners is equal or more. Not less.
Pretty sure Jinro pays his taxes to Sweden, not Korea. Or does he actually live in Korea?

It depends on country to country for instance when i was working in Germany i had to pay tax in Germany after the 1st January if i remember correctly and then i had to claim it back when I returned to the UK. It gets even more complicated if you stay for longer periods of time. I have no idea what Korean tax law is let alone Sweden's.

yep, different countries have different tax treaties. a US citizen always has to file a US income tax return, even if 100% of the income was earned in a foreign country. the tax treaties allow the US IRS to get your income tax information from the foreign country, and usually you get enough credits from the income tax you paid to the foreign country to completely offset US tax owed. but you have to file a tax return in both countries. and i only have experience with US taxes, and know the US has such a tax treaty with Sweden, as well as with S Korea. i don't know what happens between Sweden and S Korea though.
