Debatably. I think he just engaged Jinro in a bad time/area. If they engaged say middle of the map, which shouldn't be impossibly hard to do, Jinro would be able to replenish his army pretty damn quick with allt he excess resources, while Choya was spending them as soon as he got it. It was critical though that Choya was forced to attack into the main to get Jinros production.
