He actually mixed up his play and used some different strategies besides Marine all-in. He was a little more exciting to watch than some of the other Terrans. But regardless of this, something needs to be done. Ye I agree at least its a bit refreshing and hes not doing the same shit everyone does

As if spawning cross-position on metalopolis isn't a superbig advantage for Ret in the first game. In game 3 Ret made quite a lot of mistakes and he was outplayed by his opponent. The map actually didn't have anything to do with the loss, because the game never got to the late stages. no, cross positions on Meta does not give zerg any advantages. As Cliiide proven in his series vs leenock if you arent fucking garbage you can hang with Z in macro game. But as Mardow kindly pointed out if all you do is SCV all ins how can you ever learn to macro? Just look at that retard sC making tanks and empty bunkers against muta in the SoW, or Best making tanks vs Broodlords game 1. I'm sorry but saying spawning cross map on metal gives no advantage and then you cite a series where the terran lost.... That is the only series zergs use as an excuse and clide still lost even being the better player... TheBest vs Ret game 1. If TheBest was less clueless and attacked ret 3rd and made vikings instead of tanks he would have won. Hows that for a series? I can go on too. Ret vs Bratok@ Craftcup? The power of multi-front drops? Drewbie vs any zerg?

i don't think it's unreasonable to think that the better player didn't win the series

[B] Ret seems to be a way stronger player though, all the terran managed to do was one base all in. he didnt even bring his scvs.. blame blizzard for timing attacks/allins, if ret would be T u think he woulda try to outmacro zergs? if Ts have the most chance of winning by doing these scv allins, than that is what we are gonna see

He got a spire instead of bangling speed which would have won him that game. He sent in groups of 4-6 zerglings instead of grouping them up and attacking with 40 or so. And none of those games involved any cheese whatsoever. All ins =/= cheese they = all-ins. Everything in this post is correct.

(G) how to succeed in sc2 ? 1. Pick T 2. learn 5, 1-2base all ins, go win GSL Protip: last two winners of GSL were both Zerg. On Topic: Sad to see Ret go out, but I couldn't fault TheBest's play, it was relentless and brutal. Protip: last two seasons, zergs were able to downvote maps. Ret was clearly outplayed in the last two games. TheBest had strong harass, forcing Ret out of his usual (and beastly) macro style. What won TheBest the last game wasn't the map, it was co-ordinated harass with the hellions, sniping the queen and getting that viking to take out the overlords. Saying that the maps were the main reason for the losses is a cop-out, and frankly, insulting to both players. A zerg being "outplayed" on steppes of war. You must be joking. If you have a point, make it. If not, you can continue to make these inane comments like the above. By outplayed, I mean TheBest played better than Ret. I hope that was easy enough to understand. Lack of baneling speed, fast hatch, missed transfuse, etc. Keep using the maps as your crutch, it seems to be working well. How can maps like Steppes/Basin not be easy enough to understand for you?

It's funny how you actually have to drone. There was no overdrone in this game. Do you even know how fucking ineffective all Zerg units are against MMM? Very... Zerg is so underpowered. So underpowered that they won the past two GSL. And the reason why Zerg won the past two GSL's was because there was a map vetoing system that balanced the field of play. When you're basically guaranteed a loss because of crap maps (Steppes), there is more bias towards Terran to win the GSL because there is no such thing as a hard-Terran map. The finals, however, had no veto.
