Are you serious? Compare the action you see now to PvP or ZvZ.. TvT is by far the best mirror match.. If it gets past the initial baneling crapshoot, I actually think that ZvZ is the most interesting mirror matchup in the lategame. Too bad most of the time one lucky baneling can win and lose games. :/ dunno it very very often results in 50 roaches + 4 infestors vs 45 roaches + 5 infestor fights which is as stupid as it gets. Mmm I guess, but I like the ZvZs with mutars and Hydras... although yeah mass Roach feels too strong. Before the range buff it was the best. t_T
ya mutarisku builds are really fun. but even if people go muta for some time you usually see a switch to roach at one point.
but dunno if the range buff changed much outside of shifting peoples focus back on the roach even more. roach/hydra/infestor was already pretty common before it.

Mmm, that's highly likely. The thing is there's ~2000 koreans qualifying for GSL vs ~10 foreigners. 2000 to 10. When koreans interview foreigners they always seem to ask why foreigners aren't doing well in GSL. Well "duh".
Koreans are probably overall slightly better than foreigners at sc2, but with the number difference and how hard and expensive it is to go out to korea for a _chance_ to qualify, there's no wonder koreans are dominating the "international" tournament GSL.

I just watched Naama's interview after the TOP match.
Whilst people are blaming the 2nd game for stupid all in, Naama actually commented that he noticed oGsTop was doing same build order as he had been training last 2 weeks or so and he knew that Thor All-in was very strong against the said BO.
Same story in the 3rd game. He went for very strong attack vs. the said build.
oGsTop lost to predictability, not to "stupid all-ins".

I think that says a lot On the other hand we've Naama in the finals who isn't a top tier European. Doesn't say anything. Furthermore, you don't really have a clue who the top 10 korean terrans are, just like 99.999% of the forum. Including me.

I thing the top4 is very skilled but i still believe the group stage with the bo1 games had a huge impact in the results because in a bo3 or bo5
TLO, Tarson, lucifron, demuslim, sjow would go far in this tournament
not taking nothing on the other guys but i think especially TLO had a big chance
loving the coverage also!

This is what I was thinking. oGsTOP can be classified, at best, a mid-level Korean terran. Not qualifying for the last two GSLs when your race is one of the best represented says something about his overall skill level.

Nice scouting by Fenix. Really on top of his game. (No pun intended. :o)

It's as if some of you have are completely clueless about RTS games in general. You've to win four BO3s in a row to qualify and it's quite possible to meet top level players. Failing to qualify twice means very little if that's all the information we have.

Attacking your own tech lab is a very common tactic in Korea I heard.
