NesTea vs Jys G1
+ Show Spoiler +I really liked that transition of Jys in game 2 from marines into blue flames + marines, that pretty much raped NesTea's mineral line. On the other hand, game 1 by NesTea was really really well thought out, switching over to ultralisks from broodlords, rofl-stomping Jys' base.

LittleBoy vs JookToJung G3
+ Show Spoiler +Hm, that banshee - vikings - marines play in game 1 looks really scary. I'd say when you don't scout it, you're gonna be pretty much dead. Littleboy was also a little lucky, though, with JookToJung not going for a quick overseer and Littleboy spotting the morphing banelings a little away from JookToJung's ramp. In the 2nd game, JookToJung pretty much droned up too much, not having enough units when the attack hit - even though he scouted the triple-rax.
MakaPrime vs IMSleep G4
+ Show Spoiler +Game1 was pretty much dominance by MakaPrime. Game2, well, a failed 6pool.
GoldenfOu vs oGsTheWind G5
+ Show Spoiler +In the 1st game, I didn't really understand oGsTheWind's decision to go for 8pool, especially on a map like Xel'Naga Caverns where the run distance is normal to long. And then he teched too quickly, resulting in a smaller roach count for him. Game2 I think he lost because he was too greedy going for the 3rd base.

I just realised, I'm sure they deliberately put all the foreign players playing on the first set of brackets just to spite me. I can't stay up until 4AM. Damnit GSL. 
In the Ro64, nearly all the players I like, and the foreign players are all playing in the early brackets. I hope a good few of them get through!

i'm really curious about why pros think nestea sucks. it's bizarre... i think the only person in the know who says he's good is artosis.
i even went back to check his gsl2 path and he beat ogsmc, slayersboxer, zenio, and foxer. wtf? are they all pushovers? (serious question)

Well, compare his path with BoxeR's. BoxeR had what pretty much everyone considers a terrible series against BabyWeRRa, but then went on to beat FruitDealer, SangHo, Kyrix, and HopeTorture. That list contains both finalists of the first GSL as well as the guy who went on to win the G-Star tournament.
And people shit on BoxeR constantly.
NesTea isn't a bad player, but I don't really think he would have won the second GSL if both he and BoxeR had been playing to the best of their abilities. He could have been knocked out today. We'll just have to wait and see how well he does from now on.

yeah, i don't understand why people shit on boxer either. isn't winning the best skill to have? i really want to know what the idea of the top players' top player is. like, there's no reason for top players to just dislike these players other than by how they play, so what's the trend with these guys that make them "bad"?

i was kinda worried when nestea lost game 2. lol. but i guess the defending champion won't lose that easily. congratulations to sen. :D i think they could play i little longer, but i guess vines cant handle the heat.

i believe artosis said team W.E chinese team did some type of partnership/merge with prime team.

What? He had 4k minerals because he was capped... If you noticed, after he lost his army he had like 50 lings and 10 ultralisks instantly on the way... The opponent went with tons of vikings for the broodlords and he transitioned to Ultralisks, that transition was great. You hit 200 then save up crapload of larva, so basically it is kind of like a 300+ food army vs a 200 food army because Terran can't reproduce as fast.

BTW, does anyone know if GOM player is required to view the livestream? I buy tickets, but usually never watch live b/c of the ungodly hour. But in an hour I am interested in watching 2a...
I ask b/c I'm on a Mac and GOM STILL hasn't released a mac version of their player yet.

You can watch a restream/VLC, but yea only official stream is through Gom Player.

I don't know, players play mainly to win. Not just to satisfy every single viewers specially with that amount of money on the line. Just like you used "every single abusive tactics against macro zergs" such as Idra. You did it because it is what wins. Just like you, someone out there thought that series was trash play.
It's easy to say that Nestea's play was trash. But then again, we would love to see you participate in a GSL season and give us viewers non-trash games and win the whole tournament. Easier said than done, right?
No offense but he won a GSL and you are still hoping for your MLG.
