현재 B조 예선이 시작된 상태라 현장 좌석이 부족하여 A조 결승전이 대기 상태라는 소식입니다.

B조 1 라운드가 진행된 후 A조 결승이 진행될 것 같다는군요.

기존 시즌과 다르게 현장 참가자가 많아 부전패하는 분들이 많이 줄어들어 이런 상황이 발생했다는 분석입니다.

This a little different though. That was a guy who should have been on TL, but didn't necessarily have to be. If Kiwikaki was meant to be coming to Korea specifically to play in GSL3 quals and doesn't turn up it's a bit different I think. But should probably get people to confirm he was definitely coming/definitely didn't arrive before we go panicking ^^

1. GSL (Ran in January, March, April, July and September) - Main League. 32 Code S players tournament and 64 Code A players tournament.

They'll have open qualifiers to get into the remaining Code A spots I think.

Code S is a different league altogether.

Alright. Quick translation while I wait for a call from sell side bankers.

Group A finals are currently suspended due to a lack of seating (ie. available computers).
It seems as though the finals will commence after the first round of Group B games are complete.

The lack of seating seems to be due to the increase in actual participants in the preliminaries, resulting in a decrease in "bye" rounds.

Due to lack of seating Group A finals are on hold.

Group B qualifiers has started and because there are not enough seats, Group A finals are on hold.

After Group B round 1 finishes Group A finals will probably follow.

In comparison to previous seasons, many qualifiers showed up and there have been alot less byes, which has caused this situation.

Yeah from what I gather, there's Code S, which is the cream of the crop. Then Code A which is the second tier, and it looks like it will be a semi-open for those tournaments.
There might be some sort of promotion/relegation system for code A/S, but I have no idea.
