Someone posted this in the other thread for today's qualifying: Each season seems to pass by quickly and now only the Finals are left for GSL Season 2. The Season 3 Preliminaries will be next week on Nov. 15th and 16th. The maps for the Preliminary Rounds are, Set 1 : Xel’Naga Caverns Set 2 : Metalopolis Set 3 : Scrap Station The proportions for each race are, Terran : 39.5% Protoss : 33% Zerg : 23.9% Random : 3.6% The matches will be best of 3 matches. Like the total race distribution (all people who participated) and the race distribution of people who are considered as "high level" and participated. So we could gather some data in relativity to participants. For example the ro64 list looks awful with only 12 P in. But as for the notable player list there was a total of 29 P. Compared to T in the list: 24 qualified, 19 out -> total 43 T. Edit: Btw I know, there are some people missing. I just used it as an example to make my point more clear. | ||

even the qualif seem to be pretty hard to pass, maybe they should start the GSL at RO128 now with all the new talented players going there. I wouldnt mind them casting only half the games at this round, as long as we get to see out heroes! | ||
