I didn't get the third prize last time I got 3rd place for this tournament. Is it because I am in Canada and custom fees make it harder to send prizes?? (I already opened a support ticket on wanfest website.. some admin responded by saying he/she will get back to me, and then it got closed w/o a response.

I got eliminated in this round 2. I was soooo mad.
After winning game 1, my internet dropped me 5 minutes in game 2 and game 3 against some noob and then i got accused of learning his build order and then dropping in BOTH GAMES to get an advantage (our armies never met in either game). The admins are not very smart and know close to nothing about sc2. I was even willing to give him 1 free win for dropping twice but no, I was clearly cheating so I got the boot lol.

Anyone know what's going on for this? Haven't seen any info on what happens to the top 4 and afaik they haven't contacted anyone (at least not me). The page says it ends today but... when and how @_@

These don't get much publicity, it's a shame no one casts them or anything. I wonder if anyone has approached newegg about the opportunity. I went pretty deep in the summer one, had no idea about this one

i've seen more advertising for the shakeweight than for the newegg tour. and thats saying something, i mean who actually is going to advertise an exercising tool that is practically mastering the art of handjobs. anyways back to topic, ye at least for like the ro16 try and get notable casters even if it weren't day9, husky, wheat, hd, etc, etc even lower named ones such a shame.

Someone from my CSL team got a chance to play in this. I hadn't even heard of it until the tournament already started.
Seriously though, there needs to be some kind of system or group that is just a professional group of tournament organizers. Something like ICCUP but more towards organizing tournaments for other groups rather than just their own.

they also haven't contacted me, figured i'd wait a few days then send an email. not sure why it would take time to inform us how we get our prize but considering they left us in the dark about ro16 i guess it isn't a surprise.

I just received my prizes, i got a cpu water cooler and a laptop cooling system >.< nowhere near the amount of the prize pool that was listed. Don't know if more's coming or not but i guess i should be happy that i got anything after seeing stalife's post :@

I got mine today as well. I got a new tower, some screen cleaner, a laptop pad, and a cpu cooling system. not really $700 worth of stuff :S

check the prices, i thought the two things i got weren't 200$ but it turns out they were :x apparently 'gaming' eyewear is expensive.
i dont see why it would be bad to let us choose the prize, or at least one prize.

IIRC, his prizes valued at around $160. Definitely seems to have got the low side of things
