1. CHAIRS FOR SPECTATORS!!!!!! I would have stayed longer if there were chairs. 2. Better setup arrangement so spectators can watch the casts being done, and maybe even hear them. 3. Maybe have a whiteboard or large sign up with the brackets on it. The people running the thing did their best, but when 30 people are talking, it is hard to hear them calling out who is playing next. | ||

Once my voice recovers I will recast some of the other "Stage" matches in the later rounds. The livestream video cut off after 5 hours. The finals were simply awesome to watch and fun to cast. | ||

Maybe next time have a seperate free no prize turny for the women / bronze players and everyone else participates in the other turny.. Might be a little more work but from what I could tell there was only 4-6 or so people that fit in that. So it wouldn't be to bad. If they would like to participate in the buy in and opt out of this turny then allow them to. Just a suggestion. Added more: The staff was cool, and there was a lot of cool people to meet as well. I look forward to attending the next event and maybe wining a map :p | ||

I'm not gonna fill up this place with chairs for spectators. The place is small enough to the point where it's cramped for the players to navigate around as is... much less add "fire hazards" for them to avoid. 2) Yes, there are big TVs here, but I can't have them all showing matches with the actual participants able to see. I have to prioritize the competitors over spectators. Everyone being able to hear the caster is worse for the competitors. As far as the actual setups go, I wasn't expecting as many people to bring their computers... so I did the best I could with accommodations. 3) When you have a lot of people in a small area it's gonna get hectic regardless of the preparations. You'll need some sort of P.A. system to override the noise... ... ... hmm... which shouldn't be a problem next time... Anyway, I thank everyone for coming out... I know you all were in awe from my anti-sun shield. Time to start thinkin' up of something for the next jpg banner  Probably not gonna use FunkMunk again... he didn't seem to be as embarrassed as I hoped.  | ||
