I haven't seen ONE. I saw Idra vs Tarson had to be paused. And that's about it. I want numbers because I haven't seen all the games. If you don't have numbers but randomly keep throwing empty phrases like "a lot" it's not gonna prove anything. I'm genuinely, honestly asking...how many? Over the history of my watching sc2 (including beta) tournaments, I'll admit, I think I've only witnessed a maximum of maybe 4 housed tournaments have a player drop out. But still, if B.net stays the way it does, then it is only a matter of time until a player drops out in a close game in an important tournament or game with a lot at stake. For something that is normally a given in RTS games, I think it isn't worth the risk of not implementing LAN (especially to prevent piracy, which doesn't work anyways), despite how small the chance of a disconnect might occur. Edit to make it look a little nicer. there was a drop in MLG DC - idra vs qxc

DT takes a long time to get. the gas required for DTs would have meant fewer stalkers, fewer immortals and fewer sentries...all of which are actually better in main battles. not to mention, idra had overseers sniping observers the entire game.

Edit to make it look a little nicer. Oh, don't worry I really do believe SC2 needs a LAN client as soon as possible. I just dislike how some people use every single opportunity to portray Bnet 2.0 like the biggest evil that ever hit the internetz just because they personally dislike it. Objectively there are a very few complaints that can be made that aren't of personal nature and don't fall into the area of personal preference. Anyway, I dislike IdrA but HuK honestly seems outclassed at the moment.
