It is saying 'we can no longer decide who is best between you guys because it is taking so long and you are so equal, if we keep trying it will last forever'. When you flip a coin to decide a non-coin-flipping competition you have reached a place where settling it any other way is impossible. However, there was evidently tons of time in the schedule. I was watching the group live at the time and there was at least a 1h break till demuslim/adelscott's group started and they dont have an obligation to stream every match. Furthurmore it was 6 hours till the round of 16 started. So in effect they had 6 hours to settle this issue with 3 games of starcraft before they resorted to the coinflip. Sure it might really suck if group H comes to play and they also have a tie, and a tied tie-breaker - but that doesnt mean that another round of tiebreakers is unfair for group D. They are completely discrete events and if 1 of them can be solved with sc2 and 1 of them has to resort to the coinflip, then that is better than 2 of them resorting to the coinflip - surely? | ||
