As we saw, the Thors went down before they even get to fire those 250mm canons. Charged Zealots and Immortal totally pwnt those Thors. A couple of EMP would have helped so much more than 250mm cannons. Yes, TLO's positioning sucked but it still shouldn't have been so one-sided. Even if he did get a concave and fire all those 250mm canons at the same time, one or two Thors would have been killed before the shots went off. That heavy investment just to kill a few Immortals? I dunno... Yeah.. Considering what... 5 marines... 4? Beat those immortals anyway.

Putting a SD back there in the least is like gold-league 101. With proper scouting he could have easily prevented/prepared for that attack. I can't believe he blindly teched up like that. I think with his play the first game could have been much closer if he went a more traditional unit comp rather than the gimmicky Thors with strike cannons, and saved that build for show matches or whatever. It didn't help that he had really terrible positioning on that final battle with units moving in in single file. While I am glad I am not the only one who this happens too, I am disappointed. Better luck next time, Dario.

I gotta say, I'm loving the earlier starts to the games, makes it so much more manageable, and honestly, 10 SC 2 matches a night, awesome. I thought it might be a tad much, but so far, I'm loving it.

If he had more siege tanks, maybe a few more marines/marauders, and had attacked at a better time with better positioning, yeah, it would have rocked. But I suppose you could say that about anyone who did poorly. Doesn't matter to me anyway, I wanted SangHo to win. LOL. ♥ Why would you build siege tanks against mass immortals and zealots, they directly counter tanks.

Rather than try be fancy with 250mm cannons, ghost-emp would have been a much safer and more effective choice. But it wouldn't be TLo if he didnt try shit like that so it's fine - theres always next month

Other games, wow FlintZenith, even knowing he was the guy who took out Tester, did way better than I expected and looked like he was really on the way to eliminating ITR first round there a couple times. REALLY unexpected total domination victory there by Kyrix though, huge upset. Overall skill level of the Ro64 games have totally jumped since GSL1, Boxer/Nada/Idra/Clide/Cool have their work really cut out for them.

I dunno... I tested this after the match. Thors with Strike Cannons pretty much own Immortals. The Immortals are stunned until they die as soon as the Thor starts to attack. The problem was TLO attacked in a bad spot. He may have been a little discombobulated from losing sound.
