Luckily its just fine for me in plat.

That alone makes him a winner in my eyes. He deserves an extra award for the most epic crowd pleaser of the tournament. Making a mothership because the crowd asked for it, and doing so throwing away the game does not make him a winner.

This could be something people talk about for a while. Huk, the guy who mothership rushed in a major tournament semi final. It's all good imo. Now i want some of that gum.

Not a very big army usually loses against a bigger one.

Man, I'm a terran player and I agree with this. All the respect in the world to SeleCT. He's a micro beast. But, any time I'm watching a player for 3 hours and you know exactly what he's going to do from a strategic perspective, it just gets boring. Yes, tactically, he's impressive (I don't want to say "brilliant" because, even tactically, its the exact same stuff every game). But when everyone in the building knows your exact build and your tactics, regardless of the map or even the situation, and top notch players still have trouble with it, it indicates a problem. This isn't a general character trait like "HuK is aggressive" or "IdrA is passive", the man gives you the same build order and tactics every game (yeah, yeah ... reactor against Kiwi, woweee). It'll be interesting to see, post tournament, whether top guys can poke holes in the carefully crafted and field tested SeleCT produt. An IdrA/SeleCT finals will be a fight of the least creative top players we have in NA and, oddly, I'd still give my left nut to watch. I think you have missunderstood what this game is about. Sorry but the strategy isnt only in what order you get the buildings. Even if you get buildings in the same order you can play completly different strateies with what you get. Also I if he has found a build that he is comfortable with on most maps. One that lets him adjust and survive various cheese and still come out with great economy and possibilities I think that watching his games will be alot more entertaining then watching a guy just experimenting around with different types of openings and struggling to find something solid. Games will be alot longer and more entertaining watching solid guys like SeleCT play.

It wasn't because he doesn't care about winning or some altruistic reason.
