No offense there but slush is way better than artosis, you can bother asking the opinion of all the top players if you doubt it
I would ask, but I can't speak Korean.

Use your own judgement, SLush is way.... WAY better than artosis. Just watch their replays.

I really wanted to catch djWHEAT and Day9's casting... At Raleigh they replayed the stream after it was finished but now it's just a 20 minute chunk looping w/o any games Would definitely love to catch up on the action before day 2 begins. Would love to know if anybody has any info on the VOD situation.
VODs are usually available about a week after the event.
At least that is how it was with Raleigh.

So I went to bed. Come back. Gone from 23 pages to 263. What the hell happened??? The stream stuttering for 1 sec every 5 seconds.
|
I thought there was Saturday and Sunday but according to stream schedule. only saturday now.
|
Why is the stream still playing by the way? Is it live or are they putting stuff on repeat?
|
Yeah it's on repeat. It's the second time inControl's interview is playing now.

All my favorite players, imo the more fun ones to watch, are in loser's bracket, how sad. I really want qxc to beat idra, tired of hearing all this Idra favorite to win talk. He's a really solid player and pretty scary with zerg buffs, but he's so boring to watch.
SeleCT vs Lzgamer, Incontrol vs slush, ret vs kawaii and whitera vs someone I don't know, so much more exciting games in loser's than winner's (with exception of qxc vs Idra) especially since most winners of those will play each other. I'm really surprised SeleCT lost to Nony, props to him for winning though.

Fun day, dead tired. Got to so say huk bm to CaucasianAsian was hilarious (great guy though, gl with matches tomorrow)
Glad to see all the eg guys again, and some fnatic players, great to see some of the newer teams as well and White-Ra and Ret for coming down. Finals tomorrow should be awesome, for now im dead tired.
And of course, meeting with the dc nerds is always a blast, as well as meeting all the fine members of TeamLiquid

I don't think we heard about this here, Storr.
Could you enlighten us (or at least me - I don't remember seeing it in this thread)?

Where can we find results? I didn't see it upload on MLG site, maybe its just lagging for me or something weird.
|
CaucasianAsian doesn't follow professional starcraft 2, he just goes to an event like this to hang out with friends and meet people, so when Huk introduced himself Caucasian was like, oh I'm sorry, I don't know who you are, and Huk says "How do you not know who I am?"
Say what you will about Idra's play but man he's playing well, seriously, such a small change has really made a large effect on gameplay.

The stream was 2 hours late, plus MLG's crazy long commercials leaves a lot of time for mindless babble and complaining. ^^;
|
Wasn't late for just you guys, while Tekken, Brawl, Halo were all having games up on the big screen, we were forced to stand outside of the fence and squint our eyes across the place to try to see some games being played. It was pretty annoying.
Seriously my legs are killing me from standing all day but the level of games and the people I met made it all worth it, can't wait to go back in......under 8 hours ugh.

I'm not sure about the times, am I correct that round 4 starts in ~6 hours?

I'm pretty sure that is the case. I know the "event" starts then, I'm assuming they wouldn't tell us when warm-up starts, since it isn't streamed, so yeah, should be right.
