drewbie has not expanded at his natural, but looks like he is starting to build a CC now. He is pressing HuK's natural with a sizeable MMM force against a small tier 1 mix and a single carrier. The natural is taken out completely, HuK FF's his ramp and drewbie seems to just be waiting for it to expire. He has several medivacs, so could begin cliff ferrying if he wants. Two carriers are picking off depots in drewbie's base, but nothing gets destroyed before the carriers are sent home. Drewbie drops a ton of MMM and pushes the ramp with a few more. HuK only has 2 carriers alive, pulling probes. Drewbie is mowing them down and HuK gg's before any carriers die. Drewbie is up 2-0.

Map 3 is about to start on Metalopolis. HuK spawns at the bottom position and drewbie spawns on the right side. Close running positions. Being down 2-0, I have to wonder what HuK will try to do to save the series.

HuK scouts drewbie first and begins bothering with his probe. Both players appear to b doing their very standard openings. HuK is sending a lone zealot over to drewbie's ramp, with his scouting probe. A single marine and single marauder are out, HuK loses his zealot.

drewbie gets up HuK's ramp with two marauders and a marine, HuK holds with a stalker, zealot, and some pulled probes. HuK has 2 gateways up, and drewbie has a barracks and factory. drewbie scans and sees HuK's base. A robotics facility is building, drewbie scanned it. HuK canceled after the scan ended and built a stargate in its place.

drewbie has a starport already and three barracks, though he might still be a bit surprised by HuK's tech switch. Neither player has expanded yet. drewbie seems to be sticking with what works: MMM.

Nobody gives a shit about 3rd place, so he might as well have fun with the game. Imagine if he won. It would legendary, just like his previous mothership rush against drewbie.

Phoenixes are being queued in HuK's lone stargate, drewbie scouted with his factory yet again. Stalker/phoenix combo for HuK against MMM for drewbie. Still no major fights yet. drewbie appears to be moving with mass marines, banshees, and a raven. HuK holds it with his many phoenixes and hefty stalker count. drewbie is on the run back to his main and HuK is picking them off with graviton beams. HuK arrives at drewbie's main with his 6 phoenixes and 8 or so tier 1 units. drewbie pulls all his scvs and only hasmarines to protect against this counter.

HuK pokes in and out with his ground units while lifting and killing scvs with his phoenixes. 5 phoenixes are still alive poking in and out. HuK is expanding at his natural during this grace period where drewbie is thinned out. drewbie's scouting factory finally explodes. HuK is still cranking out gateway units and drewbie seems to have abandoned banshees in favor of more medivacs. drewbie is trying to expand at his natural, when HuK shows up again with phoenixes. He kills a couple of units and heads home.

Scan goes down at HuK's natural and drewbie presses in with marines and medivacs. A colossus is out for HuK among lots of zealots and stalkers. HuK seems to have switched gears now that drewbie was switched to mass marine. HuK is up at drewbie's natural thinning out drewbie's marines, and drewbie calls gg as the last of his forces are killed. drewbie still leads, now 2-1.
