No offense intended to tasteless but isn't he kind of B grade even compared to say Artosis or Idra or is this just my imagination?

I never said they were exactly like gargoyle in every little aspect but gargoyle strategically are exactly like muta in sc2, moderately good at harrassing, and good in large numbers in certain straight up fights. and it's not obvious that undead is "based on" zerg at all. The only thing they have in common are ghouls and the fact that they can only build on that undead ground (/creep). Okay, with DK-focused strats they're pretty fast too, but nothing compared to the mobility of Zerg in BW. Other than that they literally have NOTHING in common. Not a single unit in the undead arsenal is similar to any BW or SC2 zerg unit. fiends? no. abominations? no. those catapult-wagons? (forgot their name, haven't played wc3 in a long time) no. destroyers / the healing/manaregging wagons they come out of? no. necromancers? no. banshees? no. Well ghouls are exactly like zerglings even with T3 adrenaline upgrades. Fiends were sorta out of place when comparing to SCBW but theyre exactly like roaches. Aboms definitely have ultralisk feel to them and teh way wyrms were played when i followed wc3 was a lot like broodlords/guardians. and if you say that undead plays like zerg you never were any good in WC3. not a single race in Wc3 plays like any race in BW or SC2. Not even remotely. Heroes are way too much of a part of the game for that to be any true at all. Well either i was bad or you are a newb and you have no idea how undead played out during RoC. In fact FE was a go-to strat for a long while in RoC as Undead. And why the blah blah blah. We're simply saying what WC3 races feel like what SC2 races and your argument is "dont."

I would rank him there with Artosis. I just wouldn't rank Artosis there with IdrA. He is definately commentator 1st, player 2nd but he was good in bw and decent in SC2 in beta. Nobody reallly knows how much he have played after that. Maybe he is really good. I doubt he would try to qualify if he hasn't played at all

I'm expecting those Zergs who do get into the Ro64 (and I'm still waiting on more this season) to go further in the tournament. In particular, I felt that we haven't seen Idra playing at his top. I'm sure this season, he'll avoid some of the mistakes he made in GSL1 and that he'll go far ![]()

Especially when Blizz's ladder stats seem to indicate an increased % of Zergs in the top levels of the ladder - I took it as a sign that there were more Zerg wins going around. I know that ladder skill isn't necessarily an indication that you're tournament material, but it's not like we should completely discount ladder stats. Let's face it - you don't get to be in the top 100 by not knowing how to play the game. At least we're going to have those few hero zergs to cheer for ^^

Given the amount of games he has on his SC2 account, Id say its pretty fair to say hes an SC2 player right now. Also, Loners jacket/shirt is fucking awesome and I want to buy one like that so much ![]()

If it works this way (which is basically saying that all the names on the first post of the topic make up one section of the bracket) I think he has an easier path to ro8. He had an easy path last time. But shit happens, he's gotta play incredible every series like Cool did regardless of who he's playing.
