No matter the outcome everyone in your class/school will still take the "popular" kid's side. So.. if throwing away your RL reputation is worth "TLRespect".. ouch.
Or this could be one big troll for name recognition. Either way.. gl!
I'm sorry that you had an unpleasant experience in High School that lead you to believe that nothing Chease can do will ever earn anyone's respect aside from us "fake internet people" who must clearly be worthless losers.
How do two people who lose to a single person try to turn that around? "Oh man, he beat us because he's a loser who does nothing but play starcraft all day!"
Weren't they the ones talking about starcraft in their Comp Sci class?
Didn't they pursue him and challenge him?
Do you think a bunch of 19-22 year olds give a shit about those two assholes or that they (despite their field of interest) will find someone who regularly plays one of the most popular computer games of all time a nerd?
This isn't some sorority serial killer movie where everyone is an exaggerated stereotype and popularity and hollow self image rule the world. It is.....how did you put it? RL. No amount of cool is going to change the fact that Chease won $100 in a 2v1 matchup, and I can't think of anytime ever where that has been classified as "uncool".
You the man Chease, mad e-respect.

While I am certainly delighted that the three of you found your passion in life, in a video game no less, I am more than a little upset to learn (second hand) that the reason you skipped class, on a test day no less, was to practice for some online tournament.
I have taken the liberty of phoning each of your parents. I hope you did not make any plans for the evening as I imagine they will want to have a lengthy chat with you when they get home from work.
I expect each of you in my office tomorrow morning early to write a make up test. As I am a compassionate man I will allow you to preview the first question:
Q1. Starcraft is a waste of time and I will place more emphasis on my school work. T/F
Mr. Robinson
Assessment
College Professor not knowing his students names: Definitely probable.
College Professor calling a students parents: Improbable.
College Professor allowing students to make up an exam: Impossible

I mean just look at the time of the post in wich bawd actually accepts the challenge. Funny stuff XD This pretty much sums up my feelings, instead replace funny with embarassing. Honestly I found the entire thing the most cringe worthy thing I've ever read. I'm sorry but apart from the feeling that this was obviously set up, if this actually happened and you didn't do it for the 1v2 underdog 15 minutes of fame, it makes me urge to see so many people taking the apparent bad mouthing seriously. Nobody talks like that unless they're trolling or putting on a show, people are saying it's "gripping" to beat the "badmouthers" and "ladykillers". Ugh, I'm sorry it just wreaks cringe.
watch the vods no way i'd believe thats a fraud!
GG CheAse! nicely done!

OMW so funny laughed my ass off. I felt sorry for them. They have no 2v2 game sense at all. Can't believe I share Gold status with them, I feel I am way better.
On a side note I would suggest that you be a bigger man and don't rub salt into the wound. You would be surprised how much people appreciate it when you show them basic respect. They might become good friends. OK I'll stop preaching I am quite the softy. I always root for the underdog which was you then it was them, its a flaw.

how....did they lose 2v1;;;;;

Um... yeah and the fact that the "professor" lives in China might be a tip off.

No, no, no, Mani.
You're going about TL-detecting ALL wrong.
You must find the deeper, more subtle hints, before you take the glaring in-your-face information.
Makes it come together in this wonderful feeling of accomplishment. Picture this.
"College Professor, hmm? Well...you wouldn't call parents. You wouldn't care if students skipped. You don't even know their names! You must be fake!
See, you're even from China, busted!!"
vs.
"Dude is from China"
One is way more rewarding than the other.
