Would be amazing if gsl released the replays, heck I would pay a small fee for all the replays from the whole tournament. Yeah, I think people who bought the premium service should be allowed to DL the replays. I really want to know how Cool managed to get zergling speed, baneling nest, overlord speed, ventral sacs, spire, mutalisks, banelings, roaches, infestation pit, infestors...... how the fuck do you have enough gas to do this shit? Seems dealing in fruit pays well in vespene gas.
Seriously though, that was some sick zerg play he showed this tournament, particularly in the semis and finals. Makes me proud to be a zerg fan

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck I missed the last couple of matches =[. Gonna rewatch them now...
|
Good match, first was definitely the best and the others were ITR being completely outplayed except for match 4 where he made a surprising come back.
I'm interested in seeing some protoss in the top 4 next event though. A PvZ would rock!

OH man I really wish I hadn't been sick last night but I need to watch the vods :D

Weldone Fruit. You're so good

Cool, its just a master . And I loved to see the Coach Lee Aka The real marine, after the Cool win.
|
So glad Cool is giving a clinic on how to play zerg, so the balance whining can be put to rest. He deserves all the money he gets for fixing the metagame alone.

Did anyone else hear Tasteless call Korea a third world country after the fifth set? Something like "Fruitdealer just unlocked The Most Baller of the Third World achievement."
Sort of odd.

Nerd world, not third world.

OK, after watching this I'm convinced that SC2 is a good spectator sport.
I know they weren't the closest games but they were all entertaining in their own way and a good showcase for the game.
The prize money did seem a bit high though. I mean it was awesome that cool got it but if feels weird after seeing the effort the BW players put in for only about half the amount. If they can maintain that high an amount that's great, I guess.

I'm sad Intotherainbow lost, he's such an exciting player that even though i'm a zerg i cheered for him to win this entire thing. Great tournament either way, rainbow hope you win next month!

wow lol congrats fruitdealer

Great to see fruit win, I've always admired rainbow's skills so it was crazy to see somebody handle him as well as FruitDealer did. His muta transition into..well....everything, is a great tactic. His use of drops was amazing, I think his zerg play is definitely the wave of the future. Baneling/zergling harass, nydus during micro-intensive battles...so, so good. He just had Rainbow's number the entire time.
Can't wait for season 2. :D

just watched the finals, really awesome. i'm looking forward to season 2!

I want NaDa in GSL2, it would be awesome!

I don't think it's a great strategy either. Better drop them on marines, and drop roaches on tanks. Tanks are armored so the banelings only do their normal damage, which means you need lots of them to actually kill tanks. And without an insane economy lead like FD had, that's kinda hard.
but i think the extra friendly fire tank splash makes up for it

Sweet, Now all the zerg players can't cry their race sucks anymore!!!
|
i needed new pants after game 1 and 3. holy shit he's so good omg
that game1 defense looked like jaedong playing, and game 3 aggression and creativity was what the zerg races needs.
