Meanwhile, to defend vs these attacks as Protoss, the P has to be perfect. Don't play perfectly? You're instantly dead like Iron or Nexgenius. There is nothing P can do to turn the tide. 1 bunker with some scvs and units can hold almost anything. With that said, I think the better players won, except for Liveforever who was still pretty good. | ||

You really cant say that one is better than the other after seen one BO3 (and also one BO5 in the KotB that was 3:2 for Tester). | ||

, though thought that meant cool was gone but turns out it was tester haha. The game itself has potential to produce epic encounters but so many people fall so early, I don't know if it's mis micro (certainly was in Honguns case) or what (clearly maps also) but yeah, real let down. These early marauder pushes aren't THAT hard ( i think) to stop but you can't just throw away units out of position, pulling probe timings need to be better and forcefields need to be maximized, see so many FFs and then the zealots run up to whack the trapped units and end up dying themselves to lowground fire, I keep expecting players to show us how it's done but under the pressure I expect it's very difficult. Ensnare still in though hoping he can take it from Cool in the final, if the ZvTs are half as good as at IEM (final excepted) I cannot wait  | ||

At the risk of being redundant, after watching those games, Terran looks strong. We will only be able to tell in time if they really are much better (like a lot seem to think). But it almost seems like both P and Z have to react to what the T player is doing, no matter what build they start the game with. Gogo Fruitseller! | ||

MakaPrime vs NexLiveForever: Good play from Maka in game 1 but he was awful the next two games. Running your army blind up a terran's ramp? And then he tries it again in game 3 but with just a few units this time but that was enough for Nex's thor to knock Maka out. FruitDealer vs ogsInca: FruitDeaker has 50 pound balls, 6 pooling in kulas against Inca, and it worked! Then in game 2 he went FE then transitioned to dimaga style forcing Inca to stop mining a bunch of times and then teched to roaches and inca was so frustrated he forgot to say gg when he quit, I think he realized it afterwards because he was typing something after the game. Tester vs HopeTorture: In game 1 I thought Tester had the better unit composition but was really in a bad position when he attacked HopeTorture's gold expo attempt. In game 2 Tester chose a really bad spot for his robotics facility that HopeTorture was able to snipe easily, that pretty much ended the game. So much emotion from HopeTorture after that win. ogsEnsnare vs HongunPrime: Sexy decoy with the hellions to allow his army to make it inside HongunPrime's base, and then when Hongun managed to drive out Ensnare, back comes the hellions and they killed so many probes. Sexy sexy play from Ensnare. Ensnare does the same rush in game 2 and Hongun loses almost all his probes to the first push, and that's pretty much game over against someone as good as Ensnare, and it was. My quick thoughts about the upcoming semifinals: FruitDealer vs NexLiveForever: I think FruitDealer has pretty good chances of winning this match. HopeTorture vs ogsEnsnare: I like both but I think Ensnare is the more solid of the two. | ||
