A couple of restreams if you can't access Gom's own stream despite frantic clicking:
http://www.teamliquid.net/video/userstream.php?user=Grek
http://www.teamliquid.net/video/userstream.php?user=Phyrexi
(they might lag behind the official stream though)
It's easy being an experimentalist. If you fail try again.

Sweet jesus people, keep balance whines out of this thread.

Also, restream quality>GOM player quality, I can start to understand why people are so upset about GOMtv with the constant simultaneous connections exceeded errors and poor quality.

Horrible end to the series... Though I feel that kind of 1base strategy (4gate all in) will eventually be phased out (at least at progamer level) as players improve.

Jaedong 4pooled 3 game in a row vs flash in their best of 5 matches in china.

I heard that he 2 pooled every game!

Yeah it's hard to hold back the wave of disappointment when zergs are out early in basically every single tournament.

I think we all want to see Zerg players for the variety, but I'd also like it to be because they're awesome. If TheWind won that series you could hardly have said he played brilliantly at any point.

For using a perfectly legitimate (despite being nerfed in two days) strategy to win himself twice the prize pool? I think anyone who says they wouldn't is lying.

Game 1: 1a
Game 2: Good nydus play, unscouted and undenied expansion(s), another expansion denial takes the game.
Game 3: 1a

Well, this is more than enough for anyone to look like a cheap mofo in my eyes.

Ninja Edit: It's not about being imbalanced or something. It's just cheap strategies of a cheap mofo.

nydusing units into the back of a base = good play.
warping units in front of a base = 1a.

you're retarded.

I really liked Game 1. 3WG pressure tried hard on the natural with 2 proxy pylons but failed and zerg enjoyed an okay lead (and mitigated by the fact that zerg had 9 guys on 1 extractor). He entered the first engagement with ~7 corruptors for the 4 colossi and a ton of roach ling hydra. Force fields carried the day and let the colossi last long enough to take out his ground with the stalkers, then stalker down the remaining corruptors, and next colossi push you don't have the gas to keep up and eventually colossus/stalker/sentry carries the day in terms of killing efficiency per mineral/gas used.

Brilliantly isn't a word you would use for 80% of the players in the GSL.

Spines are really a crap shoot in XNC. It's basically 270 degrees of open attacking routes.

I think that anypro was the better player and deserved the win, but as a zerg player it always hurts me to see how much work you have to do to counter most of the stuff that protoss can do so easily, forcefield, collossus, storm etc just to stay alive. Thats why zergs getting a long way in tournaments earns my respect more so than the other races. Or perhaps it just because im a zerg player myself
