Hello there,
We are proud to announce the first SC2 LAN ever in The Netherlands. It will be held in The Mad Processor in Amsterdam. http://maps.google.nl/maps?hl=nl&source=hp&q=The Mad Processor&ie=UTF8&hq=The Mad Processor&hnear=Amsterdam&z=16&iwloc=A
This tourney is available for everybody and there are a total of 32 spots available. So sign in asap!
Here is the deal
- 32 spots available (including PC's, you can bring your own gear if you want).
- Entry fee is € 25. € 320 guaranteed
1st € 170
2nd € 100
3rd € 50
- The tourney is available for everyone who has an OWN SC2 account on Europe.
Rules
- Cheats and/or abuse are not allowed, obviously.
Map pool
- The map pool for the brackets will be revealed on the day itself.

- Full name
- ESL ID, if you do not have an ESL account yet, create your account here http://www.esl.eu/benelux/register_player/. You can find your ID in the address bar while visiting your profile. For example: quakerix (Id: 574370)

Only 320 euro's out of 800 euro's goes to prizes. Where does the remaining money go? Do we get a steak dinner along with it?

Hello,
Just to make things clear. Like Pholon said we have to pay the internetcafe for renting the place so that no other people besides from visitors and gamers of this tourney can enter the place, and of course for the pc usage. 15 euro's goes to the internetcafe and the rest goes to the pricepool which will be a guaranteed pricepool of 320 euro's
Esl's role in this is that they provide us the license to be able to host such a tourney without being sued by blizzard ^^

Last time they did a winner + loser's bracket, everything Bo3 at least. Even if you get elimned you can still stick around and play some games with the people there. Definitely a full day (and evening)'s worth of entertainment!

I tried to unregister, but got no reply. I do want to come to the lan, but I've been slacking off lately, and don't want to join the tournament. I'm currently #24 on the list. Can anyone tell me how to unsubscribe?

Btw, if you wanna spectate, I asked the topic starter and he said it starts at 13:00 unless people show up late. And he estimates that the end is around 21:00 but that is just a rough estimate.

You can just take the bus\train if you are a student(FOR FREE) so it doesn;t rly matter how far you live

Maybe next time jos. This tourney is called TMP CUP#1 so there will be more next year. And for the people who cant come but want to see the games, there will be a livestream probably if everything goes right. Martijn will be the caster.

The tournament is on a Saturday, so then you'd have to have a weekend card. So, for the week students, it's not free.

Hey guys, great LAN yesterday! Unfortunately I was late and couldn't play, but I had a great time meeting some of the players and seeing some good games.
Thanks to the hosts for organising this, and thanks to Martijn for casting. One day people will recognise your face like they do Day9's :D

The LAN was alot of fun!
Met alot of people, and even a german player who came all the way to Amsterdam to join in on the fun ( /me waves at Chobo )
Thanks for letting me try casting Martijn, unfortunately your PC crashed, hopefully I will get another oppertunity to tag along.
Gratz to Sushi for taking the tourney convincingly!
