Indy Maps and the Challenge of Diamonds. Who : 16 players tournament, possibly 32. Open registration to Diamond players. There will be some invitations. Where : European server. Only custom melee maps that are not created by Blizzard nor mapmaking teams. The current map pool is Back to Back, Highest Authority, Jackknife. When : Saturday September 25th 2010, 17:00 CEST which is in your timezone Saturday, Sep 25 3:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) How The Tournament Works : Every round will be Best of 3. This is subject to change. Prizepool : No money. Pride and gratitude for helping promote lesser known maps. Overview : 16 or 32 man tournament, European server, uses independent maps, the map pool is : Back to Back Highest Authority Jackknife How to enter : Post your Name.identifier and your Race in this thread. You need to have an account on the European server. You can't change race in the middle of the tournament. I will send you a PM on Teamliquid.net the day before the tourney starts you'll need to answer to check in. You're encouraged to send me your replays at grumly@gmail.com It will help mappers tweak their maps and help promote the maps. I will release a replaypack that everybody will be able to watch on different servers, even if the map isn't published there. Streamers and Observers are ok as long as both players agree. Signups are closed. Tournament is over. The Map order will be : 1st round : Back to Back, Jackknife, (Highest Authority if needed) 2nd round : Highest Authority, Jackknife, (Back to Back if needed) Semi Finals : Highest Authority, Back to Back, (Jackknife if needed) Finals : Jackknife, then loser picks the map from the 2 remaining, then the 3rd map is the one remaining The brackets will be published at 17h central time, right when the tournament starts. When the tournament starts, contact your opponent in battle.net, create a custom game and search for the maps, play your games (bo3), report the results either by PM on teamliquid, on battle.net or by email.
