And judging by the sound of how many people signed up for this I think MSU should try to upgrade to some bigger spaces for this

At the last several SLP events I've been to, they have provided the power strips and network cables. I'm pretty sure you're only allowed to use 2 slots on each strip though (one for monitor and one for your computer). I imagine this is due to fire codes or something.

Edit: I just talked with one of the admins. They provide everyone with 2 slots on a power strip, BUT you need to bring your OWN network cable.

I'd imagine they'd stretch the rules a bit for you, Raelcun. I do know they have a 'no monitors larger than 24 inches' rule, but I asked around, as mine is 28 inches, and they didn't seem too hardcore about it considering I was on the END of a table and my buddy is sitting next to me.

Not terribly relevant, but I feel there may be a space issue with 2 monitors. I'm sure if you can make them fit, they wouldn't have a huge problem with you taking an additional power slot.

I imagine you'll get whatever you need. They definitely won't limit you to two power outlets

Yeah you're going to get special treatment most likely Raelcun. The two of you being there is a huge part of why this event is going to be so big! That and tsaga's persistence on the TL forums

I'll be there but I'm not sure if I'll be playing in the SC2 tournament. I'm waaaaay too rusty. I'd probably place gold if I had to do placements right now. But I love watching starcraft more than playing, so expect me to be in the screening room with you guys
