Not many people will be able to watch all the games live for free. Sure, you can pirate it or w/e, but honestly, maybe since GOM listened to complaints, made it fair to people who already purcahsed a ticket, and is actually trying to reach out to foreigners, $20 for the first tournament isn't too terrible to show you support GOM. If you pay for the first tournament and GOM makes a profit, they may get better sponsors or next tournament will be run better. And you may either have to a) pay less or b)just go ahead and pirate stuff then. I dont support piracy of the Vods as I mentioned. I said its nice that people support GOM by paying. I just said for me it didn't look that attractive of an offer as it did on first glance and that it looked even attractive was probably because of their first offer which makes it kind of likely for me that this was planned to an extant. Still I appreciate their marketing strategy and I dont think they are the devil because of that. If that wasn't clear then I hope I clarifyed it with this post.

On a side note did anyone notice the difference in bandwidth test to GOM server? Mine used to be 400K 2 days ago and now its almost 2000K. Did they change the server or its just my ISP?

Just watch how people here are reacting to it ^^ I hate how they had to yank people around if this is actually the case. The pricing they arrived at is great, and I would of paid for it before the door was shut on my face.

Hello everyone, Many of you are very curious about your bandwidth check result. We can explain how the bandwidth check works on GOMtv.net Your result shows the internet connection between your computer and our server. Even though you have a very high internet connection in your area, if you are located in where far from our server, the result would be low. GOMtv.net server is located in the west of the US and if you stay in Europe or other country, you might have limited speed. That is why we recommend you do bandwidth check before watching live broadcasting or purchasing the ticket. We are trying hard to provide better service and sorry for inconvenience this issue may cause. We will keep up the posting to make you better understand our service. Thank you.

Would probably have paid for the month of entertainment at the old price but did not want to support their efforts without them making a free stream available. Making a LQ stream for free now gives me all the reason I need to sign on. GJ GOMtv. they never thought it would work, it's common practice in any negotiation, now it looks like how they listend to the community while they still charge 20$ for something worth 5$

Can only find the old pricings ![]() They have fixed the bandwidth meter to display the correct units. My results now reflect the same speed that my router's bandwidth meter indicates, whereas before they displayed 1/8th of that (i.e. the difference between KBps and Kbps)
