HD and Husky just started casting during Beta and neither are really great at SC2. I think they are doing amazing and getting better. They are use to prerecorded VODs so I think by the end of the weekend they will be great.

I have no idea why people are hating on HD/Husky so much. I guarantee that they are better at casting than the majority of people hating on them...

please bring back day[9], my ears and brains are hurting.

If you have VLC player you can try start it up and press ctrl + N and paste this and hope it works (always worked for me with MLG):

how DARE you call yourself a caster and say that protoss build was nonstandard SDGJFDFSGHDFSJD Because it's their first time as well and they make mistakes. Plus they'll have to dumb things down for people new to SC 2. This event is more for people looking to start playing SC 2 with no real prior experience rather than people like you.

agreed, and they certainly know more about sc2 than someone who has never played the game
i myself am just far too picky LOL, i know it should be acceptable given the lack of better alternatives but in my mind it certainly is not acceptable at all & it makes me really angry haha

There is absolutely no need to bash HD and Husky because honestly they have experience and they definitely have unique styles as well as above than average insight.

I think we are all to use to seeing people like Nony, WhiteRa, Idra, Qxc, and Morrow play... because anything less than perfect is tared and feathered here. Pros never make mistakes. Ever.
IEM.
Whitera v TLO game 2.
Pros -do- make mistakes.

You are wrong about this. The bg9 and arenajunkies communities always keep tabs on their players. In my own view after fanboying lots of wow players for a while i wouldnt watch them in another game just because its them, or maybe thats just me.

So many HD and Husky fanboys. How do they do it? I thought that casters had to know the game that they're talking about. Oh yeah they commentate on youtube lol... :\

Man you really need to calm down, seriously. Save your raging for after the tournament cause the chosen casters are here to stay for the rest of the tournament.

Fakesteve you are my hero, never stop posting please!

That WoW-'pro' has already supply blocked himself for 10 seconds at 11/11. *facepalm*

I think its just that Husky and HD aren't too insightful. They prolly aren't top diamond players either. It's not like JP's the master of analysis, but I think anyone with Day[9] automatically becomes awesome.
Day[9] is awesome.

Dammadar 707 points Hope you can take a game at least!

Watch blizzard drop the new patch right before the finals. It's going to happen.

Agree with fakesteve tbh, im fairly new into the starcraft scene and even i question some of their comments when im pretty terrible.

HD is a bit of an anomaly in that I'm really not sure why anyone likes him as a caster (he seems like a nice person). These two are decent at relating the game to new, and I mean NEW, players which imo is why they are so popular on youtube and hence why they were invited to comment on this tourney. My 2 cents on that issue.
What's wrong with HD? He's usually the one who gets really excited during big fights and that is good in a caster.

Just far too much whining in this thread. Enjoy the event and stop dwelling on the mistakes. Watch some other games if SC2 isn't up to par with your likings (it will be more entertaining later today or tomorrow)
