In the case of the starcraft matchup last night.

Inside there, you'll see a bunch of urls like:

Show nested quote +

<octoshape-sd-channel>mlg.600c</octoshape-sd-channel>

That tells you that the standard sd channel is "mlg.600c"
If you are using linux, download the linux octoshape plugin, then run it like so:

Show nested quote +
./OctoshapeClient -url:octoshape:mlg.600c

Then it will attempt to run mplayer itself with a url that will look something like this. Go ps axf | less to find it.

Show nested quote +
mplayer -nocache 498/ms2/1282945276976/0MediaPlayer+0+/octoshape+h+mlg.600c/MLG600c" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">http://127.0.0.1498/ms2/1282945276976/0MediaPlayer 0 /octoshape h mlg.600c/MLG600c

If for some reason your player plays a few seconds of sound and then quits, it is probably because the octoshape plugin passes -nocache to mplayer which is retarded, so just go mplayer 'the above url' that you found, and that gets you a perfect stream that worked all night for me.

Is there a less technical way to explain it? I'm using windows 7 and I have no idea what what "Go ps axf |" means. It plays in VLC for a few moments then stops using this url: http://127.0.0.1:6498/ms2/1282943058368/0MediaPlayer 0 /octoshape h mlg.600c/MLG600c

If you read a little more closely that part is for Linux users. "ps" is a Unix/Linux command.

I don't really get it - why is Incontrol going for a main Stalker composition rather than more sentry/zealot oriented?

Yeah, there was a post a few pages back where someone on windows said it worked for them. I thought I wasn't understanding something.
