So Nada has like a $1000 flight to Germany, and Kespa just cancels it. And I fail to see how this has anything to do with Blizzard "forcing Kespa not to broadcast".

And yeah, what about CJ.Idra?

So blizzard's lack of LAN cause 2 discs and Kespa fucking ruined the showmatch..Both parties have failed today

Probably something to do with GOM.TV owning the rights to broadcast SC2 in Korea.

Might be a stupid question, but what is KeSPA?

The KeSPA can easily stop Korean Pros e.g. they can ban them from korean Major and Team Leagues. So it's an easy decision for NaDa to leave and have no probs with KeSPA.

The KeSPA was meant to be an organisation for the Pro-Teams, but now its in a communist state.
They demand something and the players are forced to do it.

It's the same with their ridiculous rules in BW: If anyone writes something else than "pp" in a game or stops it by himself it's an autowin for the opponent.

The KeSPA needs to be reorganised soon!

Again for everyone this is no troll:
The korean looking guy that was interviewed was "reis" he was organizing the SK Warcraft 3 squad if i remember correctly.
He told Dennis that Kespa only agreed to the showmatch if it wouldn't be streamed in Korea. Unfortunatley someone illegaly streamed the games on Afreeca (streaming site) and so Kespa pulled the plug.
Nada could have gotten in alot of problems if he continued to play (fines and so on) so he had to stop.

Thank you anonymous afreeca streamer for ruining it for everyone *sadface*

Well at least when Blizzard fucked up, they could replay the match.

Make an account, and go into your account control panel. "Add pre-paid key" or something along those lines.

it's true.

the showmatch was just planned for the audience, and somehow there turned an afreeca stream up in korea. kespa immediately told them to shut the match down.

NaDa has still contracts with kespa and wemade, so they're allowed to do this. it sucks, but still is pretty much understandable after all the fights kespa and blizzard have.

So for those keeping score at home, the showmatch results were as follows:

TLO - 1
NaDa - 1
Battle.net 2.0 - 2
KeSPA - Infinity

tbh this showmatch makes me doubtful of foreigners chances in korea. Maybe TLO did go easy on him, but if not things are looking bleak. If progamers switch over and practice for a cpl months I dont see foreigners stopping them. They have trained their mechanics and multitasking for a long, long time and reached a level that will not be reached by foreigners in quite some time imo.

KeSPA fail.

But great showmatch so far.

if the stream was the issue, why wouldn't they just shut down the stream instead of the game?

Kespa only saw a white dude on the stream. We all look alike so they didn't make assumptions because he didn't have his CJ shirt on.

Korean e-Sports player association. They control the sc1 scene and are at war with blizzard/sc2.

It's a god damn shame Yun Yeoul has to enter the military eventually here. I'd love to see him continue on in SC2.
