Seriously, what unit can zerg or protoss make that doesn't put them in a deficit early game when going up against either marauders (protoss) or reapers(zerg).

Sure Idra could have played safe on one base with a roach warren on cross positions, but then terran gets a second base and all the barracks with tech labs making reapers just switch to making marauders.

Sure Hasu could have massed immortals and sentries/zealots/High templar but then terran just turtles up on his 3-4 bases and just outproduces him.

This is why people whine about Terran, its too easy for them to seal an advantage, one unit play with moderate micro management will secure a win for any competent terran player.

Once they have the lead, they cannot lose it, even destroying all their workers makes no difference, because 4 mules will somehow allow for a player to come back and produce enough to get back in the game in less than 5 minutes
