his english isnt good because its the standard english education every german has to learn in school (5-7 years minimum).... so he doesnt have extra english skills or something like that.
And it's good to note that English is an absolutely atrocious language to learn, so it's not exactly easy or anything.
Its not that hard either, there are many many worse..
The big issue with English isn't so much the original framework so much as the finer details. Irregular verbs and such are very common in English and less so in other languages - or so I was told constantly at school. The big upside to English is that most areas of the world teach it reasonably well and you can find articles/books/shows in English with reasonable ease.
But enough about the language issues, I just want to see dimaga win :D :D gogogo (7 mins?? - tried to work out conversion from Australia ><)
am I the only one who doesn't quite like the idea of a bunch of impressionable german kids in a room shouting at the command of a charismatic guy holding a mic?

They're only about halfway done with the day of matches so far.

I can't imagine a language harder to learn than english 0_o. It doesn't even matter how hard the words are. All the information is in english and it's all around you as long as you use internet. Normally if you aren't computer illiterate you're at least 'okay' with english, and all the nerds have good english knoweledge.

Seriously. I can't even imagine how any language could be easier than English.
Really? Because from what I've seen German is about as easy and simple as it gets when learning a language.
Well I feel I can't really judge that since it's my native language. But everyone I talked to about this is saying that English is a lot easier than German.

For me as a Dutch person English was a delight to learn, really easy language. So is German though, was also easy to learn.
Good thing I can understand everything being said right now.
It ought to be, English is the bastard son of plattdeutsch (with a little french thrown in for flavour)
