Not to mention he pretty much 2-0'ed and 3-0'ed everyone from what I've seen. O_o Some smurf maybe?

Rules

1.3 It is forbidden to participate with Smurf accounts if they cover up their known synoym. Using a Smurf account will be punished."

Probably just another unknown terran fluking. Just like the countless of nonamer zergs and protosses who frequently get lucky and win zotac and ESL cups. Oh wait...

Wouldn't put it beneath morrow not to read the rules too carefully though.

It was Morrow and he was playing on his own account so I wouldn't really consider it smurfing.

btw it was not smurfing, everybody knew it was MorroW, Gritzefisch belongs to our own staff and he was so kind to offer his checked-in account to MorroW, so he can play eventhough he was too late.

just a random question, i didnt realize you were from Sweeden too, but now that i come to think of it Sweeden has almost half of the top players/cup winners of europe.

Morrow, Jinro, Sjow, Naniwa, Haypro, Zpux, Madfrog, Lalush and i'm forgetting someone, a terarn, + there might be others who i dont even know because they seem mediocre among those guys.

Seriously, is sg in the water in Sweeden which makes you good at SC? I mean look at the other nations, Ukraine has the Strelok-Whietra-Dimaga trinity, just as in BW, Germans are good, but just as in pretty much every e-sport, other countries have like 1-2 great players, maybe a couple more who are getting there.

Or is it just me?

It's not just you, it's true. The Nordic countries have the most best players ATM. They have PCBangs, Clans, and a very e-sports friendly environment from what I've heard.

I'm not sure you can say Nordic countries. Finland and Norway don't have anyone. Denmark is not that much better either. (I'm assuming you mean SC2.)

i think its a bit of a two way street where bigger acceptance of the gaming culture and superior internet connections helped to create SK which in turn made esports generally more accepted. And of course Element is probably the biggest name in esports ever.

I agree it was really epic it's too bad BigT's stream was messed up for a bunch of people (me included)... and that he kept plugging his youtube video was kind of annoying
