I'm gonna have to side with Pandain as a zerg thinking TvZ isn't too imbalanced (at least I think Pandain's zerg, he was when I met him on the ladder a long time ago). You do kinda have to delay until hive if you want to avoid the whole dying thing. Which is not imbalanced, zerg had to delay their ass off for hive in BW because the bio ball was too crazy after vessels came out to beat without defilers. But I'm pretty sure thats not the real point of this argument.
I believe the problem at hand is the zerg's inability to scout terran early on and I fully agree with other people that this is a legit problem. Yes, bad people will leave their tech in sight of a ling running up a ramp, good people will not. Sacrificing and ovie isn't always useful if terran's on the ball (surrounded base with depots or whatever so the marines can kill the ovie quick times). And frankly, zerg cannot account for everything terran can do.
Let's assume for a second that roaches "hard counter" hellions and reapers (which may or may not be true) and also do well against marines. So you manage to scout that there's no marauders so you figure its probably a marine/hellion push. You make roaches to deal with this but it turns out he went banshees. Your lair got delayed by the roaches and now you're dead. If you try to go fast lair and it turns out they did a big marine/hellion attack, you're also dead. And really, there's just no good way to see exactly what Terran's up to until lair if they're really on the ball.

Its one thing to talk about imbalance, its another to trash talk and act like a 7 year old kid.
What I saw tonight was a really capable Terran that played it well against HuK.
Congrats to him, being down 1 base and still winning was cool to see !

Ah I get you. He certainly had opportunities there to end the game but Silver played very well. Hopefully they'll release the replays.

Definitely, it's awful to play but damn, some of the most entertaining games I've seen are on Desert Oasis. This Silver fella is a surprise as well, beats IdrA fair and square 2-0, and excells in the rest of the games as well. Great job in this tourney.
