i'm not disrespecting them or anything because i love watching there vods and they're great guys to listen to but if you say something please do it and if you cant just give us a reason why, don't get our hopes up, i mean the first announcement was on the 25th of july now its the 26th of august so 1 month has gone by, i know it takes a while to invite, seed, setup the tournament but you've got hundreds if not thousands of people waiting on an official statement, i don't think you guys seem to realize how excited everyone has gotten ever since you announced this. I know you guys have alot on your plates like MLG Raleigh and whatnot but to just come on the forum and say "hey guys theres been a delay we wont be announcing until later on in the week" or something to that extent will calm all the jittery people waiting for this tournament to start. heck even if you're nowhere near a computer you can just get online with your phone or so and post something. I must say the whole tournament is going to be AMAZING and i cannot wait for the day to come, i know it will be crazy, i know there will be problems, i know for sure there will be delays but with a tournament this big, it's downright impossible to make the tournament run as smooth as you wish. So please, please, please, give us an update soon on whats to come because I, like the thousands of people waiting, have been checking this thread every few hours for a glimpse of hope to when we will have an official announcement. Posting "We will be making the official announcement for HDH2 tomorrow!" only feeds to the fire of anticipation, and not posting within a few days after just slowly kills that fire quite rapidly. | ||

I appreciate what they're doing but a certain level of professionalism is expected when you host something big like this. Get out of here with that "it's free so be thankful." What happen if the NBA was like this? And that's free too. Frankly I would rather pay to watch a smoothly ran tournament than to be teased like this. So yeah given that amount of technologies available today, this isn't because they're at MLG Raleigh. It's a tease move. | ||

IF they had never made this thread, none of us would have known in the first place that they were organizing such an awesome tournament. IF they had made this thread just hours before they started casting the tournament on a stream somewhere, you guys would have been blown away (even though there would still be the few that would gripe "how lame that you guys kept this a secret. should have told us sooner"). But they did tell us in advance just so that we could keep track, have some sort of input into the tourney, and just so that we stay notified of the tournament's progress. By the way, they're human too guys. They don't wait on TL forums constantly pressing F5. They have other obligations and priorities as well. I really wish these people could move faster. Its great what they are doing for the community. But i hate to be a debbie downer. stop making tournaments and just do something like a ProLeague. It would fit your schedules much nicer. we wouldn't have to wait 5 months to see a game played... It's no fun seeing tournaments that hype you up but don't do anything.. its like waiting for a blizzard game. Except the players have already played eachother 2-3 times before its start-finish lifespan. | ||
