I had no way to tell what game was played first, so please avoid that for the VODs in the future, thanks.

But it does seem, at least from the optics, that these two players are far and above their competition. I almost get the feeling that, to make an analogy, there's a tournament for great regional tenis players, and they have to compete against Pete Sampras and Nadal to win the money. Was it generally known that these two players would steamroll their competition? Are these two regarded as the best players in Korea, or are these two typical korean players, and typical korean players are generally that much better than everyone else??

I agree with you that they are much more stronger than other players. But it's a very good thing to me that just before the launch of the beta, we have to proof that skill actually matters in SC2. Looking at those Kors bashing top EU/US players is sooo reassuring. SC2 will be a great game !

Are these two regarded as the best players in Korea? Yes. Their clan OGS is apparantly owning pretty hard in Korea. But it does seem, at least from the optics, that these two players are far and above their competition They play a lot more flawless, but it's not like they didn't have close games (and it seems like Tester even lost a game to HuK, though we don't have the rep yet). And seriously, why call it "King of the Beta" if you're not inviting the best players of each region?

I just notices that on the King of the Beta, in casts before he always showed the income tab. In one cast he said while having the resource tab open: "Oh my god look at the resource counting station, he's way behind in resources" - i mean, it says nothing but he's better in macro, isnt he? Is it possible that he interchanges something there?! greetz He doesnt do so conciously you just forget after a while / if you concentrate on the battless. Production and Income in second are the most important tabs imo.

Can not believe just how good Korean players are. It is like different category. Watching games with them i felt really sorry for rest of the world players.

But let's stay a bit objective. For starters they're professional gamers right. And if we look at the games, Idra coulda beaten Tester's pylon cheese if he had been less caught off guard imo. If instead of teching Lair needlessly he just baneling-busts the front, it becomes a clean-up. It would be like Dimaga's busts but more effective because Tester wasted minerals on the ramp-wall and double cybernetics core. And the Whitera vs ITTR games, if Whitera didn't send his probe down prematurely (which warned ITTR and he cancelled gas and built a second rax asap) he coulda probably taken that cheese game, seeing how close it still was now. Second game he foolishly lets his scouting probe die. I think he was a bit off his game or he could have simply probe-blocked that factory from landing. Then there's Huk who took a game off of Tester (still wanna see!) and the last game was very very close.

If Huk made a collosus, then ya it would have been close but he didn't. Tester just walked right over Huk with the forcefield ramp. I still don't understand WTF was up with the Robo bay but not collosus.

The Koreans are playing the game as it should be played. Intuitively with creativity, flair and real-time reaction. The foreign players just play so mechanically by comparison. It's like comparing Kobe Bryant with Corey Maggette (for those who follow the NBA). Only TLO displays some of the Korean approach... but his mechanics don't seem to be as strong as theirs. Bottom line, the way Tester and ITR are playing is the way the game should be played. It 100% more entertaining.

He was going Colossus but when he saw the tester is going mainly Stalkers, he probably just thought that Immortals would be a good choice. Stalkers can be picked pretty easily by blink stalkers.
