People that don't play the game 12 hours a day versus people that do. Gee, I wonder who might win.

huk played very well in game 2 imo... he was dominating for a bit until tester made way way to many stalkers for huk can handle.. HuK should of expanded when he had a huge lead in the center of the map with that xel-naga watch tower

Where a platinum player from the US server says he gets placed in bronze league and can't maintain 50% in asia. Everyone laughs at him and thinks Koreans no longer are way beyond the North American scene. Pretty hilarious stuff, because the gap is so much bigger than I ever imagined.

He was wrong tho, I've played on Asia and the difference is not so big that a legit platinum player would be put in bronze.

Not that this has much to do with these results, but that thread is still silly. There are many other instances of people who got plat in earlier seasons then screwing their placement games and getting into bronze or whatever, even on the same server.

Wow, once you have so many stalkers that you can 1 shot immortals, immortals aren't really cost effective units. Are they useful in PvP at all?
say you were born into a jungle indian tribe where food was scarce...would you run around from teepee to teepee stealing meat scraps after a day lazying around doing nothing except warming urself by a fire that you didn't even make yourself? -rekrul

Agreed. I'm not sure why, really. I feel like today's games weren't as enjoyable as the previous ones, despite some pimp plays.

Haha awesome.

Love seeing that brutal ownage by ITR and Tester, pretty sick controls and great use of those warp gates in game1 by Tester. Man, another level indeed.

Rather one sided games today. It was like watching major league ballplayers toying with little leaguers.

I know people were joking earlier, but it really has turned into a series of Race domination.

Day 1: ITR + TLO win. Terran Domination.
Day 2: Tester + White-rA win. Protoss Domination
Day 3: Dimaga + Idra win. Zerg Domination
Day 4: Tester + ITR win. Korean Domination.

This trend is probably gonna be broken tomorrow, as most people are expecting Dimaga and Tester to win.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

Maybe because they were totally one sided. I mean it was just pure scolding.

Kinda shocked that Huk seemed content to mine himself out if Tester didn't take the game into his own hands. He had such a huge lead. Things like this and the 6 gate into nexus he did last night make me question his overall game sense

That's the thing, many of our platinum (diamond now) players are not legit platinum players. And it's not that he got placed in bronze, it's that he wasn't even good enough to break 50% in bronze after playing many games.

And yes, the thread doesn't really have that much to do with these games, it just slightly relevant and I didn't want to bump an old thread and bring irrelevance to that thread. I just overall notice in lots of streams and topics the theme that we can stand up to Koreans all of a sudden. Well someone better step up to the plate.

I had a great feeling huk didnt win any of his sets
I watched his iccup.tv showmatch vs sheth just moments before day9 was to broadcast the first two sets of the tourney and huk seemed like he just didn't give a shit about the game
he kept pumping immortals vs sheth's mass hydras
he played as if he was completely disinterested in the games and i knew exactly what the reason was
i really took that as a major hint at what some of the results were for the tourney
i feel bad for him, he was probably incredibly disappointed
