FF's + Collosi are ridicluously strong on all of the blizzard maps because all of the choke points. Just 3-5 blocks off your front and allows the range 9 on collosi to absolutely destroy zerg ground or terran bio.

Zerg NEED infinite duration neural parasite. It could have made a huge difference!

Tester and Intotherainbow are gunna face off in the finals. Period. Whitera is going to loose tomarrow.

Seriously. Idra sat back on fucking hydras and zerglings the entire game. All Tester did was stall until he got colossi and roasted everything. Stupidest game I've ever seen. And this is the best non-Asian zerg in the world??

no its a round robin, so idra still plays 2 more best of 3 series, and based on how everyone does in the group play 2 more people from each group emerge.

Idra should have waited in that last game, half army to his natural, half to the third (not all the way to third but to a point). Would have been better then engaging at the one time. Oh well too bad the first game was a cheese .

Idra just can't hang with Tester. Bottom line.

Results chat spoiler
+ Show Spoiler +Idra could have pushed like 5 mins earlier and won the game, he loses by letting his opponent tech to colossi. Ive seen him lose like that against whitera and tester several times.

Of course that happens when your opponent's army composition counters yours... There was nothing surprising at all about the game.

I'm pretty sure the same thing happens in BW if you mass hydra/ling and don't flank against a Protoss who gets meaty ground units + splash damage.
|
Zerg vs Protoss is so damn onesided, GG IdrA, well played!

Idra is bad, and this was proof. His only strength is being able to mass expand and pump drones. He has absolutely no creativity or game sense. Like always, he just tried to spam tier 1 and tier 2 units until he hit 200, and then a-moves. Tester saw this and went for the double robo for collosi, which absolutely rape hydras and lings. Idra didn't get any air at all.
In this first game tester directly stopped his mass expand style (and in the 2nd two with the pylon block somewhat) and idra had no idea at all of what to do. Dropping a 2nd hatch in your main and spamming lings? LOL. Time to learn more than one build order idra.
Also, I can't wait for the flood of zerg is underpowered posts.

Dude the first game cannons were so IdrA couldnt fast expand it wasnt to win, Idra just didn't play it properly because he doesnt know any other builds. Thats why Tester did what he did. It wasn't cheese.

I can only imagine how epic Idra's BM would be if a non-Pro Korean pulled off Tester's Game 1 Strat.
Probably something like "OMG *****ing *** . Totally undeserved win" *leaves without gg'ing*.

Wow game 2 was an exact repeat of one of the Altitude games (5?). I would have thought Idra would instead use his last ~20 food differently, or try dropping. I think Idra said he plays a lot of games vs Tester so this situation must come up a lot - I wonder if the only difference in the times he wins is better micro in the final battle, or if he has tried a number of different strategies.

When was he supposed to attack? Tester had good army positioning the whole game. If Idra had gone for a push forcefields would've split his army up and had similar results. By the time Idra's attack would have been possible was the time 2 collosi hit the field.

This second game by IdrA is totally a repeat of TLI. At least that game he had some corrupters. This game he MAXED on hydras and didn't even try to attack, drop, or vary his composition. IdrA, what happened?
|
Idra scouted the collossi and didnt go air..

IdrA played TERRIBLY. He is NOT a good zerg player.

IdrA really sucks late game. I mean, he can get a maxed out army quicker than anyone in the world, but when he does he doesn't push. Yes, he doesn't push when his army is maxed. What kind of sense does that make.
He did it to whitera, too. Same result. Mass forcefields and lots of colossi.
