EPTIt says that the best 2 of each group advances to single-elimination but that doesn't mean they will be paired with their division buddy in the semis. All combinations of 1st place, 2nd place would be possible in that case.

the NA server seems to be REALLY understimated, probably because people assume everything carries heavily from BW and WC3. if we look at showmatches and crossrealm play tournaments between north america and europe or asia you'll see the gap IS NOT that big, if existent AT ALL do people forget EG beating Team Liquid ? two of the most representative teams of NA and EU if we go by showmatches, here's a short summary of what I can recall from the top of my head: Sheth 3-1 Ace (top Asia) Machine 4-1 WhiteRa (top EU) Machine 1-4 WhiteRa (top EU) Machine 3-4 WhiteRa (top EU) QXC 2-1 Haypro (top EU) Incontrol 3-0 Raven (top EU) CatZ 3-1 Tarson (top EU) CatZ 2-0 MoMan (top EU) Antimage 2-0 MoMan (top EU) Skyfive 0-2 MoMan (top EU) SLush 5-3 WhiteRa (top EU) SLush 1-5 DeMusLim (top EU) CauthonLuck 4-1 TLO (top EU) if you go on ladder and find some of these players and their Matchlists you'll be amazed who they play with and how often they win. My team, as well as other teams like EG, get a chance to play with people like WhiteRa Dimaga Ace Loner Ericpanda(luffy) MoMaN and many other top players on a regular basis. Of course releasing replays of practice games is not in style, but I think everyone should know that there is no such thing as a visible skill gap at this point in time. Asia has MORE good players then EU and EU has more good players than NA perhaps. but this doesnt mean that those at the very top are not capable of competing with each other. HuK is a great example of this, he's won multiple tournaments not just in the NA server but also in EU, and as many of you may know, EU soil doesnt favor canadian's latency. So have a bit more faith and stop bashing on (for many of you) YOUR SERVER! Again: GOGOGOGO QXC AND HUK, GO BRING HOME THE GOOOOOOOOOOOOLDDDDD | ||

Watching you vs Idra is probably my favorite foreginer matchup. Maybe a Nony showmatch with the winner afterwards ?? Big fan btw=p | ||
