Event has now finished
So, this is a tad late but the 3rd/4th place match and the final are both being played today.
http://sc2.17173.com/live/ is the link for the stream and you'll need IE as an activex control is required to get the pplive player working. It streams a lot better for me than daum/gom ever do, giving a pretty much buffer-free experience.
The 3rd/4th place match is a best of 3 (currently 1:1) between two Chinese players, Beckham (P, username Playkad) and Super (P, username lengnan), who knocked out Check and Maka respectively in earlier rounds of the tournament. PvP isn't everyone's cup of tea but at least the games will be high quality.
The final is a best of 5 between the Chinese player Loner (T, username illu) and the Korean player Freedom (Z, username Star). Both have played really well during the tournament and Freedom especially is an absolute beast of a zerg player, putting so much pressure on his opposition by continuously attacking in different locations at the same time and just never letting them settle into the matches. Most of his matches so far in the tournament have been ZvP so it'll be nice to see how he handles ZvT in this final.
EDIT - vods from the whole tournament can be found on this page so you can watch any that catch your eye: http://media.17173.com/sc2/

Thanks for the heads up Bane_. On another note, does anyone know why I cannot open any korean websites like PlayXP and the ones linked above (ie. firefox/IE "cannot display this webpage"), from my university network. Its not "blocked" the same way filesharing sites are, for instance.
Note: I got it working by proxy but proxies get squashed. Edit: eh unless I missed it the video players not working either - tried installing the IE addon

*cough* yes...it's actually finished already. I really was late with the first post as the 3rd/4th place match was well underway at the time. They've generally been quite good with getting the vods up though so hopefully there isn't too much of a wait for them, oh and someone in another thread had mentioned the tournament replays would be released once it was all over.
As an aside, am I right in thinking this tournament has had the biggest prize purse so far during the beta? 1st place walked away with 10000 chinese yuan (~1075 euros), 2nd 5000, 3rd 2000, 4th 1000, 5th-8th 200 each.

I can't find any VODS of the finals, only preceding matches. Am I missing something? My chinese is still quite poor haha

could you please confirm that so we can add it in Tl wikipedia for players and for winnings?

Is this the same tourney that was supposed to take place in June? (Not sure what's going on.) Either way, seems like a great opportunity to watch some top Asian players fight it out. I'll take some time to watch it later and report a summary. Final VODs don't seem to be out yet.

considering what he wrote around mid game, yes its probably him ;P

Finals are up now. Fantastic matches, so nice to see tanks really get incorporated into some good midgame play. Some of the early TvT matches were great, so different from US and European styles. Thanks a lot for the link-
Also, lol, Idra is 'limper'? I generally like pro names but that ones pretty terrible. I mean why cut corners, why not go with 'flaccid' and just own it.

any replays ? im not a fan of vods ;/

Great matches and very different played. Hmmm china can own korea na europe team in shanghay tourney if they will play like this
