I changed my mind, not giving me the replays so I had to watch the youtube vids for the finals and 3rd place matches made it really epic. Great conclusion to the HDH. Especially those mass ling games TLO vs Nony - starcraft 2 so is a spectator sport already :D

However, NonY is a beast, and deserved all the wins he got.

And you can't blame TLO's losses simply on what race he randomed as. The dude picked random, so he must/should have mastered all races. If he hasn't, then it is TLO's fault that he lost. That comes with picking random. You can't say "oh, he lost because he got Protoss". If he can't play Protoss on a pro level he is destined to lose at least 1/3 of his games, so that basically means he sucks.

lol that means he sucks? Yeah you're right, his protoss is only like 2100 rated probably while his other two races are above 2300. Damn, he just sucks so bad. Can't say someone sucks when they have such a following and great understanding of this game (as you can see by listening to the state of the beta podcasts). But in reality, I hear he switched to Terran permanently making him someone to watch out for next tournaments. He's full time now baby!

You seem to be misunderstanding Dystisis. HE is not the one saying TLO sucks, rather than the bazillion people in this thread coming here in this thread to whine "Omg, TLO was soooooo unlucky getting protoss 3 TIMES!!!!111", basically saying he sucks by giving him that excuse. (As if he have never lost a game with another race)

I demand a video of Nony's High 5!

On the serious note, please add game 6 onto the finals playlist, I almost had a heartattack thinking husky didn't upload the finale to the epic series!
Thank God and gunrun.

Noone said his P sucks and that he only lost due to this protoss spawn, but whitera is way too solid to lose in a PvP against a random player, whoever it could be, especially knowing whitera is so strong in PvP. Getting 3 times protoss against whitera is like the worst case scenario he could get because whitera is just too good PvP for him to handle.

Yeah I didn't mean he outright sucks; he is a very good player. My point was that it's kind of lame to say that TLO didn't deserve to loose, just based of what he randomed as. That is also disrespectful of TLO's opponents who did win (such as NonY). If the race-factor is so deal breaking he should not be randoming. So in that case, it is good that he now has chosen Terran full time!

Hey just wanted to say thanks for the tourney, it was really entertaining and fun to watch. I even downloaded Irip on both of my computers to make the sponsor happy.

My one suggestion for future tournaments would be more interviews. I loved the skype chat you had with day9 after his games: really entertaining. Clearly this would be hard to do, if not impossible, with all the players, but sprinkling them in with some more frequency could not hurt.

Thanks again Husky and HDH, keep it up!
Nothing is impossible, only too expensive.

Thanks alot for the tournament guyz! Its been awesome, can't wait to see more of TLO and PainUser!!

Your efforts into starting a starcraft 2 scene in the west inspired lots of people up here in Montreal (Quebec) and I hope we can see our own sc2 scene emerging too !

Keep up the good work and bring the e-sport to mainstream!

In all honesty I'd much rather watch a replay of the matches in the HDH Invitational than listen to the youtube commentary and and watch from the camera man's perspective. I appreciate the great quality of the youtube videos though. I had no idea youtube had 1080p until I watched your videos.

And also this may sound very rude, but I can't help wonder why the replays aren't out yet. They're very small files that you likely have saved somewhere, and it would take about 5 minutes to upload and link. If you lost them then it's totally understandable, but I haven't even gotten around to watching TheLittleOne vs. Nony because I want to have my own camera control.

Everyone is waiting for the replay pack.

You can improve your reputation for reliability, professionality and general being organized by upload the replays as soon as possible.

ESL have done a great job with their recent StarCraft II Go4SC2 Final. All replays were up in less than 24 hours! I would love to see that kind of being on time from all tournament administrators, even though it might be difficult, as you surely have busy schedules, still ... the first games were already played more than a month ago...

There's no replays because this was a sponsored tournament and replays don't give the sponsor a return for their investment. I.e. these games would not have happened unless iRip ponied up some money to support it.

I'm amazed (although thankfully only a few) people don't quite get that.

Yeah, that made me lol.

We've been used to VODs since years, and I actually find them much more appealing as a source of entertainment - cast + no need to scroll (can eat and stuff). :D

If you go back a few pages HD actually wrote they would work on a replay pack after all games had been casted. The reason why they weren't immediately released can be what kar1181 wrote though.

Too bad they said themselves that they'd have a replay pack. Please don't talk out of your ass unless they say they can't release the replays because of their sponsor. What you say may very well be true, but don't act like a smart alec about a guess.
